@Ian it's not our problem if you could or couldn't see our passwords.
The whole thing is your site is over a decade old, and passwords like mara123 COULD still be made. Most people don't login everyday. A lot of people have a pc and will stay logged in for long periods of time without having to type in their passwords. You definitely could've made every active player create a more secure password long before this.
You're comparing mara to a bank account. My bank account wants upper and lower letters, numbers, symbols, a security question, an image and there's even a sound to go with my account. My gmail requires me to have a backup email, phone number, no password like mara123, and security question.
They have for quite a few years. You cannot blame a 10yr old for having a poor password if YOU never updated your security. You absoluetly know you have young players and some of them don't know better without help. Stop trying to play a victim. You're not. This was 10000% preventable.
Staff & yourself have behaved extremely unprofessional in this situation towards children and paying customers. I don't care how much work it made for you at all. It would've been a lot easier had you updated account and password security with the rest of the internet. I don't even wanna spend money on this site since it's too much work and too unfair to staff for them to fix accounts.
