I understand that they are overwhelmed, but this is their job! They've issued a blanketed fix-all hoping to please everyone, except that it doesn't make up for all that happened and reverted on my account and it wasn't really applicable to help everyone's situation. Not even close. All I received back was a giftbox that I did resell as suggested, and a bunch of magazines or whatever that so many people received that they are not really worth anything. Like I said, I sold the giftbox, nbd, but it wasn't anywhere near adequate to make up for my losses.
Over the past couple of years I had sporadic amounts of activity on the site, so I never bothered to have King Baspinar rewards turned back on. I played but not like I had in the past. So imagine when I finally did request to have it turned on and received all of the rewards from month 32 all the way up to the top. When the site came back, I had lost all 90+ months of loyalty rewards (including items, MP, BR, RP, olympic points, pet stats--all of it) PLUS all of the leveled rewards from other prize thingies (Golum, Kirin, Harpy, Slime Boy, Drake & Satyr) FOR EACH PET. I don't really give a crap about the lower tiers of those rewards, but because of the stats received from the loyalty rewards, I was up to level 200-400 for each pet on each of these reward categories and all added up together it was a significant amount lost. I've already received a response from the ticket I sent. It essentially said that I needed to list each item and reward individually, which I did. And of course there is no way to directly reply to the response I got, which meant that I had to send another ticket. It's been 2 weeks since I sent that and haven't heard back. I feel like maybe whoever opened the ticket took one look at the list, laughed, shook their head and said nope and closed it.
And maybe some of you think it's ridiculous to to be upset over something so stupid, but I'm upset because their solution didn't set things right with my account. Maybe it did for a lot of people. But not mine. And this isn't the first run-in I've had with a site crash. This account was born out of the massive downtime in Dec. 2004. My account disappeared from the logs entirely during that event. They had no record of it whatsoever and I had to start completely over as there was nothing they could do. At least I'm not starting from nothing here, but I have a right to be frustrated.
They've done a fantastic job getting things back up and running and trying to navigate this, but there is still to be work done here. This should be priority over the EEH.
