*Shrugs* I suppose it's just too unscientific to believe in fate, but they still do so they use technical jargon to make it more acceptable to themselves. Either that or they've allowed people to make all of their decisions in life.
And the only difference between a person who makes money off it and doesn't is their acting skills.
.epub is open source, isn't it? Still can't be bothered downloading PDF Reader, but if .epub is any good I'll probably give it a try. Do you use an .epub reader to convert documents? Don't think you can do that with PDF Reader for free.
I can't be bothered with Descartes when he believes consciousness is good enough reason to believe we exist. And there's also his trademark argument. And now to defend deism; deists (are supposed to) examine the world to conclude a god exists, Descartes assumed that just having the thought meant one existed. I wonder if Descartes wasn't secretly an atheist trying to make Christians look like fools. And that is why I will never read Descartes' work.
While we're on the topic of existentialism, that actually makes sense. If I was paranoid I'd believe it was actually happening. In other news, the social contract has helped end the universe's entropy problem. (Don't quote anything having to do with the social contract; I forgot what I already knew and I'm too lazy to go researching. : p)
*Nibbling on alien lizard, realizing that I forgot to send you out with a dictionary and basic spelling book* -_-
