What was the controversy again? Something negative about a person? If that's the case there are laws, at least in the U.S, against slander and libel. Of course what the film was saying would have had to have been a lie.

Bro, bro. I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but some time after this chat the problem went away. I was able to load wikipedia and everything again. I must've tweaked something. Can't remember. lawl

Maybe try searching for configurations before you reinstall FF? If you haven't already. Wouldn't be surprised if script blocking was moved to configuration.

Have tried disabling add-ons and uninstalling them. Haven't reinstalled FF though. xD Will try... Also I'll have to find that FF script blocker again. I'm pretty sure it existed... Had to enter some command into the URL bar I think xD

NoScript blocks JavaScript, though. I could have sworn that there was a setting or something that blocked JavaScript in FF, but I can't find it now. Have you tried disabling your add-ons or reinstalling FF? Can't find anything on the subject.
