The Mad Scientist Fasoro is not truly as unhinged as he lets on, it’s mostly an act to get pets to leave him alone and keep nosy neighbors out of his business. It’s just a costume, after all. He’s very much the voice of reason in most cases, but really only shows this side of him to select people, like Nacre, Dralmor, and Novel.

He sincerely dislikes Peignoir the Jinn Yuni, and has devised many precautions and gadgets to combat the powerful being. His glasses, which he almost never takes off, are anti-hypnosis. He has magical essence trackers (ie scanning lasers) all throughout his lab, and he’s even developed a magic dampening solution that he carries around in a former pepper spray container. Dralmor has also insisted he fill a spray bottle with it too, just because it’s hilarious.

Peignoir may not show her face outside of her room often, but when she does Willoughby is certain she’s up to no good and will not hesitate to douse her. This makes the usually easy-going Jinn quite irritated, as one hit prevents her from levitating around for the rest of the day.
