Marconi


Marconi was born in August of 2023, and her story with us started in a way that no kitten should ever have to experience. She was dumped at my job(vet hospital) along with her sister, Nami, a younger kitten, and a little Chihuahua.

When they were found, they were infested with fleas and pretty sick. They had clearly been through a lot, but thankfully, their story didn’t end there.

Her sister, Nami, now lives with my best friend from high school, which makes me especially happy knowing the two girls both ended up in loving homes.

At the time Marconi came into my life, we were absolutely not looking to add another pet. We had just lost my beloved Buddy, and our household wasn’t necessarily ready for another addition. But then Marconi showed us her personality — and there was simply no way I could say no.

She is a full-on orange tabby in every sense of the word. She is packed full of crazy shenanigans, endless personality, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting.

But underneath all that orange-tabby craziness is one of the sweetest cuddle bugs. Every night, she insists on crawling into bed between me and my husband, where she curls up with her head resting on one of our pillows like she owns the place.

And honestly… she does.

Marconi may not have been planned, but she was absolutely meant to be part of our family. She went from being a sick, flea-infested kitten who had been dumped to living the life she deserves — surrounded by love, comfort, and plenty of people to entertain with her shenanigans.

Sometimes you don't choose the next member of your family. Sometimes they choose you.

And Marconi definitely chose us.
