Mauven is very depressed
A well known programmer in his city, even if he wishes he could be something else. Mauven is usually alone, in his dimly lit apartment with a sad, dying plant, an emotional support rock, and an energetic puppy that's his only reason for even leaving the cold, damp space of his home. He's pretty sure there's mold growing in the corners now. The only character Mauven interacts with occasionally is a homeless chibs by the name of Haweloos. Mauven can't help but feel like the feline was cursed to their pitiful existence with a name like that.
Mauven's neighbor does make living a little easier, seeing as she brings him food and she comes to visit him each morning. He's even seen her with Haweloos some days. If only he knew her name.
