We brought Otter home in April of 2026, and he was born on February 16, 2026 — just two days after my beloved first Border Collie, Buddy, who passed away in 2023.
I can’t help but feel like that little timing is something special. While Otter could never replace Buddy, he has brought a whole new kind of joy into my life. This little guy is SO much fun, has an incredible working style, and is truly full of goofy personality. He keeps me laughing and always seems to find a way to make every day a little brighter.
And a fun fact about Otter: he’s actually British! His parents were both imported to the United States, so this silly little guy has some British roots behind that adorable face.
Otter is smart, driven, funny, and just an absolute joy to have around. I’m so excited to see where life takes this little guy and all that he grows into.
