What happens when there is a Blackout? Well...

All Candle, Devil, Fire, Fire Fairy, Lightning, Light Fairy, Neon, Sparkle and Strobe pets will receive FREE training at the Gym and Elite Gym and FREE lessons at the School and University.

Visit the Telescope during a blackout and you'll win one of these amazingly detailed Photos of each world in Marada.
Without any power, the Operations Portal has reset to factory settings and will change the colour of any pet that uses it to black or white. No species changes will happen at the Operations Portal during a blackout.

Whenever there is a blackout event, the retired Galactic Treasure Chest is back on sale at the Account Upgrades Shop.
It will automatically retire again when power is restored to Marada.
The blackout has Baspinar's Castle and Eleka's Castle in darkness 24 hours a day. Therefore the Knutt Knight will stay sleeping and his quests cannot be completed but the Troll mission will stay open 24 hours a day. The Bank has decided to remain open throughout the blackout.

Ublish no longer needs your help finding stars for his mission - it's so dark he can see them himself and has taken a well earned vacation!

The Batteries, Candle, Glowing Egg, Health Tonic and Star Shops all have a 2 for 1 special on all items.

The grave keeper is also always asleep when you visit Grave Robbing.

Our 23rd Arcade Game has been released

Wafer is visiting Nimbus from Candyland and has fallen asleep. Every game you play will enter you into the Donut Challenge. Jump from each donut or bounce against the wall to climb higher and higher, collecting as many donuts as you can... but DO NUT FALL! If Wafer falls he'll wake up from his sleep and the game of Donut Fall will end.

At the end of each game, you will find out if you are a winner of the Donut Challenge, comparing your score to a group of randomly selected players who played in the hours before you. If your score is the highest, you will win a random Donut Challenge Prize which could be a Ball of Fat Yarn to change certain minipets into Gourmet Minipets.

Donut Fall, our newest game, can be played up to 3 times per day for FREE. Game resets at 00:00MST. Earn 25MP per 1 Point. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play. There are also 10 new Bonus Prizes you could randomly win each time you play.

If you win the Donut Challenge playing Donut Fall you could win the new Ball of Fat Yarn. You can use this item to change six minipets into a Gourmet Minipet. The Fat Butt, Fat Fatty, Fat Ian, Fat Mistake, Fat Neesta and Fat Sewage are the first six minipets to wear this new Minipet Colour.

The Forest Fairy now has new prizes to be won for up to 9,000 different Toys your pet has in its collection

Each time your pet plays with a new toy it will be added to its Toy Collection. Remember, completing Carpenter quests can prevent your pet from breaking any rare and expensive toys your pet plays with!

The Capsule Machine has been refilled with these new items. The previous items, released in December, have now been retired
There are 12 new Crystal Ball items that can also now be won from the Capsule Machine. These will remain inside the Capsule Machine, like the Prize Costume does. They are toys that your pet can play with and also one use items, that give you a one time special benefit at certain features! For example, use a Drew Crystal Ball and the next Drew quest you complete you are guaranteed a Dress 4 Less Voucher!

If you are lucky enough to win a restricted Zola pet from the Capsule Machine, you may win one of these new Enchanted Zola Plushies!

A new event for Easter 2021 is the new Easter Time Machine promotion

The Easter Bunny is back in Marada!

Decorate your profile and dress up your character for the celebrations, in pinks and golds and purples. The Easter Bunny will be visiting profiles and you may get rewarded for those who impress her. The Easter Bunny is not like Beelzebub, she is shy and easily scared away! Be nice and she will be running contests, games and giveaways on the Forums - 10 lucky winners will receive a retired Splatter Costume while others will win retired Easter Eggs and other great items! Naughty players will scare her away or receive only Carrots.

Even though Marada is only days into its spring season, unusally warm conditions have brought a Heatwave to the whole of Marada. As always, whenever there is Heatwave in Marada the following happens: All Summer, Island and Shaved coloured pets will receive FREE training at the Gym and Elite Gym and FREE lessons at the School and University.

Whenever there is a heatwave in Marada, the retired Summer Treasure Chest is back on sale at the Account Upgrades Shop.
It will automatically retire again when the weather changes.

The Snowman is melting - Biala really can't cope in this heat! Obviously this means he won't be able to quest.

Borak quests will reward BBQ Tools instead of the usual Cooking Utensils. These can only be earned during a heatwave event and will be needed for a BBQ feature in the future.

There is very little wind and conditions are calm even in Vortex Park! The Windmill is barely spinning but if you do wait for it to stop you will be guaranteed to gain 2 stats for your pet.

The Earth Fairy is a climate expert and has once again warned the citizens about climate change in Marada. To spread her message, she is rewarding DOUBLE item and DOUBLE MP reward prizes during the heatwave. She was once again quoted saying: 'Unless we act fast, this warm weather will be permanent'

To help farmers out during this heat, the Account Upgrades Shop has a 2 for 1 promotion on all Fertiliser.



To adapt to the new weather, the Frozen Food Shop is now restocking Melted Frozen Food gourmet food items instead.


The Sultan has had to DOUBLE the cost of his tax though, to help pay for the air conditioning bills!

The Kamilah Desert is having some of the hottest temperatures on record! All of the Candle Shop stock has melted. There are 63 Melted Candles restocking instead. These items are only available during a heatwave.




The Smoothies, Soft Drinks and Ice Cream Shops all have a 2 for 1 special on all items.

It's so hot in Biala that elves have stopped making Toys. They had Twigs in storage, waiting to be made into toys and are selling these instead.

Our St Patrick's Day Event has just started

When you complete an Leprechaun quest between now and March 31st, you will win one of these new prizes. When you receive a prize from him, he will tell you how many minutes you should wait before you will win another bonus prize from completing a quest.
The Leprechaun has been added to the Site Reminders to let you know when you will receive a prize again.

The Defend the Castle game in Baspinar's Castle now has 23 new High Score Rewards to be won each time you reach a high enough score in this game. Remember you will win the Level Rewards the first and only time you complete a level of a game and the high score rewards are won after this. Prizes include weapons, Goblin Plushies and an Eleka Harp musical instrument.

There are also new Trophies for your profile for Defend the Castle. Complete all 18 levels to earn a gold trophy. Complete level 17 for a Silver Trophy or level 16 for a Bronze Trophy. Once you have completed these levels, visit the game again and your trophy will automatically be added to your profile!

Quack Mafia and Gizmo Gravity games have changed. Whenever you send score, the coins you have earned and upgrades you have unlocked are saved to your account. Your coin balance will never expire but all upgrades reset on the 1st and 15th day of each month.

Gizmo Gravity has 12 new item and 3 new pet stat High Score Rewards


These Enchanted Gizmo Plushies and Gizmo Potions can now be won whenever you complete the Bumpkin mission

The Town Hall has been upgraded, giving you more options to change your pets than ever. The Username and Pet Certificates remain the same as before but there are now five new Certificates that you can use here.

The new Swap Certificate allows you to select two pets that you own and swap their names around. The new Gender Certificate allows you to change your pet's gender to Male, Female or Other. Height Certificate and Weight Certificate allow you to change this to between 1 and 99.There is also a new Case Certificate that allows you to change the case of your pet's name - the name must stay the same but you can change it to UPPER or lowercase (mypet to MyPet for example)

Can you find the new Free Spin Hidden Avatar?

We have updated Quack Mafia and Gizmo Gravity games so that coins and upgrades earned during a game are saved to your account whenever you submit a score. This means that you will no longer lose your progress if you change browser or device (or clear cache).

Fairy Flight unlocked fairies are also now saved to your account too!

All Pyramids and Temples have been updated showing the new prizes for each level. The Transuranics Temple has changed the most. The Staff of the Temple prize for completing this temple is now the level 27 prize. When you complete this temple you can now add any item missing from your Plushie Collection

The Kamilah Pyramid and the Slate Pyramid features have been improved. Just like the new missions update, you can now view the Prize List to see what you will win at each level. Prizes have been adjusted slightly, including the final level now earning you a Random Enchanted Plushie or Random Potion of the restricted Hump at the Kamilah Pyramid or Echlin at the Slate Pyramid. This means you can now complete both features without forcing your pet to change into either pet and can use/trade/sell the Enchanted Plushie or Potion instead!

The Check Price feature has been improved. Whenever you price check a Costume the magnifying glass icon will link you to Pet Colours to see what pet can wear the costume. The same icon shows for every Minipet and Ball of Yarn and it also shows on each Treasure Chest so that you can easily see the items that are inside it.
All 21 Missions now have a new Prize List feature, with the same design as the new Level Games making it much easier to see what prizes you can win from each mission level.

The Mafia Costume is the latest costume to be revamped

The Mafia Basil, Crikey, Ercuw, Feliz, Flab, Gizmo, Pucu, Reese and Renat have been updated to the newer design. This costume can be won each time you complete level 24 of the Pirate Mafia mission.
