i just wanted to keep this on here as i spend a lot of time on here and also to share the adventure with you many lovely people

i dont like talking to my family so i am going to secretly learn a new langauge and when i am fluent, i???ll pretend to get hit by a car or something and ???magically??? be able to only speak this language, kinda like amnesia

i have chosen to learn the German language

i will chronicle various sentences and perhaps dialogues on here to look back on and study, and to keep track of my progress

ich lerne eine neue Sprache (i am learning a new language)
what i learned
- all nouns are capitalised
- in German, there is no word for ???am??? or ???is??? before an -ing word
-i.e. ???i am learning??? is just ???ich lerne??? which translates literally to ???i learn???

meine frau isst einen Apfel (my wife is eating an apple)
what i learned
- frau can mean woman, and wife - same for men (mann)
- masculine nouns change the article before it (ein —> einen and der —> den) when “the” is being employed directly before it

- January 23rd, 2019
das sind nicht unsere kinder (those are not our children)
what i learned
- nothing in particular, just more about possessive pronouns like “unsere” (plural)

- January 24th, 2019
ich trage niemals rocke oder kleider
what i learned
- nothing i’m too tired for life so yuh

- January 25th, 2019

- January 26th, 2019

viele kinder mogen kein gemuse (many children do not like vegetables)
what i learned
