Blog Post: Intro to First Five Pets
14 years, 2 months & 2 days ago
21st Sep 2010 20:21 tag0 (pronounced "tag-aught" ) here. I'd like to introduce you to my pets.
First of all, we have Shuurai. Shuurai is the oldest, and is a Green Fasoro. (The Fasoros look like foxes, that's why I chose him.) He's a leader, in to sports, and his name means "invasion / attack / raid" in Japanese. He has a minipet Fynx, named Shinta (from the Rurouni Kenshin manga / anime).
Second oldest is ChenXi, a Blue Speiro whose name means "first rays of morning sun / first glimmer of dawn" in Chinese. She's in to art and music, and is strongly looking forward to doing missions for the Troll under the drawbridge of Baspinar's Castle.
Next was Bewolkter, a Yellow Ideus, whose name means "cloudy, overcast" in German. Like ChenXi, he is interested in art, but also in math, and he has a passion for running. (He's tried out twice in this week's Olympic event so far - unfortunately, he's still nearly a newborn, so hasn't won either race.)
Our fourth companion is Neshep (more properly "nSp" ), who was originally a Red Paffuto, but recently was changed into an Orange Feliz. Her name is from ancient Egyptian, and means "breathe". Neshep also has a minipet, a Doomed named Solten (which name was chosen just because I liked the sound! ). Neshep's interests lie in geography and history, as well as swimming.
Last but hardly least is Slanaigh, the Green Bolimo whose name means "to safeguard" in Irish Gaelic. She's hugely interested in science, and is hoping to get a degree in Molecular Science, and perhaps one in Computer Science, from the university in Simeria.
That's the lot (at present).
And yes, I like going to foreign languages for naming purposes. It makes them more unique and helps develop a personality quicker, I believe.
Talk to you all later!
