Book 1. Part 1. As I cry myself to sleep.
I???m different let???s face it. I live in a tent for crying out loud. My mum died when I was four and dad died 2 years ago. I???m 13 and living in a tent. It???s small a 3 person tent at best. It???s got a bucket that I fill with bottles of water from school. I use it to clean and to drink. I have a sleeping bag and a necklace my mum gave me. I have my school things and a huge rucksack full of clothes. Not comfortable but for me it???s home. It???s all I have. Do I have other family? No I don???t think so. They would of adopted me before I ran away from care. Before I ran away from a Home or at least what they wanted us to call home. Well enough about my home life. School, what a waste of time. There is no point in going if you ask me. It takes up my time. Time doing what one might ask well you see I???m not like anybody else my age. There is an Organisation called Last defense or L.D. I???m part of it. Last defense against what? Last defense against demons. Demons are returning to Mysteria falls and we need to stop it. They look like humans to anybody without a screamer. A screamer is actually a contact lense that shows the true identity of them. It???s a weird world but it???s mine. My name is Rosalie Falls and I am a demon slayer.

The demons aren't hot. They aren't sparkly ok so some of them are hot but their true identity is not. Far from it. They don't burn in the sun or die in flames. Flames heal them. Hell is on fire so yeah hardly going to hurt them. It tickles apparently not that I've tried flinging myself into fire. There is a new girl called Eli. I've been sent to investigate her because they believe her to be a demon. She's young 13 at best though I've known a baby demon well he was my little baby brother he used to get me into all sorts of trouble not a demon though. He died when he turned 1 due to meningitis. I pulled on my gear and set off to work. Whistling a tune then changed to singing it under my breath
"Hi ho, Hi ho it's off to kill we go...."
Tottally normal for a teen.

Eli was walking on the other side of the road. I went to put the screamer in but when I checked my bag it wasn't there.
"Weird I put it in" I muttered to myself without trying to look like a schizophrenic person.
Eli was suddenly behind me.
"Looking for something?" she asked. Her voice strangley angelic but at the same time evil was at the root. She didn't feel demonic no something else or something worse? I blinked. That was it. A simple blink and I awoke in a cell in the pitch black. No colours fading no feeling of falling to the floor just a simple blink of an eye and I had moved but to where and what did Eli want?

As my eyes adjusted to the lights I could see that there was a small line of light far away. The way the line was proved that it was a door. I moved forward each movement made me feel weaker and sicker. By the time I got to the door I was shaking and feeling ill. The air was now thick and made me cough. There was poison in the air and it was going into my lungs. I couldn't risk waiting for her to open the door she probably never would and I couldn't tell how long I had been in there. I touched the door and yelped the door was red hot. I needed to find another way out.

Suddenly music blasted out from the roof causing me to scream.
"The hokey kokey?" I said " Seriously?" I decided to go in to the middle as I done when I was little and used to dance and began doing it. I could hear movements.They were playing the way to get out.
"And that's what it's all about..." I never got to say the final word the floor gave way and "RAWR" blasted up loudly from below. I screamed trying to grab onto the stones. There was spikes at the bottom with little gaps to try and fit my small frame into.

"Now now no need to swear" said a voice. At first I thought it was Eli but unless she had a s3x change it was male. Definetly not Eli.

"The reason you fell down here is because let's be honest you are sh1t at dancing" he said. I laughed I would have to agree with him there. A spike rose up not enough to go throw my hand but I felt the point threatening to pierce the skin. As it retreated a few drops of blood dripped from the small wound.
"Can't you smell it Rosalie?" he asked "The smell of your life dripping away into the sand or is it sand?"

As he said sand I could hear a roar of fans. The sand rose up stinging my eyes. It was creating a sand hurricane causing a hole in the middle. I tried to move but the sand was thick. I managed to get my hand through but touched the walls. Not only was I about to be eaten by sand but if I wasn't eaten by sand I would be made into effectively a human pancake by walls. This was not my day and with that the last of the sand rose and I fell screaming like a banshee.

I landed with a thud but there was no sand. Just rock of course my body kindly thanked me as pain shot up through my body.
"Now how good are you at mazes? Take a wrong turn and fall through the floor it's simple don't die"
Simple easy as pi. Not pie. Pie was easy to eat pi was harder to solve plus you can't really eat numbers. I moved forward through the maze turning left and right. There was two tunnels leading towards the exit two of them would kill me one of them wouldn't. I picked the one furthest from the exit and stepped forward then I heard a click

It revolved a few times and stopped. I breathed a sigh of relief and stepped forward I was two steps away from the entrance when the floor gave way. Manical laughter filled my ears and I awoke in my bed covered in sweat and blood. My dagger was covered in it but who's blood was it? A demon or a human and I tried to remember what had really happened.

I was looking for Eli then my memory faded something must of happened to alter my memory had I killed her. No I couldn't of she couldn't be dead I washed my self off then headed out and gagged there in front of me was a stranger his throat ripped it. Throatless.
