The next thing Jason knew he was in the ambulance strapped to a gurney with 4 paramedics hovered over him,and attatching various tubes to him with different sized and colored needles.He could only watch in horror as the paramedic next to him struggled to keep leah's heart beating.He prayed for Leah to come through over and over again.She would pop in and out in conciousness and when she was awake she only screamed in pain as if something was ripping her limb from limb.Jason paid no attention to his own throbbing,crushed leg as he cried out in horror as the paramedic tried to shock Leah back to life.He was soon drifting in and out from the anistedic.Soon both of them were in grave danger.The paramedics switched the doses of Morphine,and Leah had to much and wasn't coming through at all.And Jason had too little and he felt every twist and turn that the doctors gave him.Not realizeing the situation the paramedics didn't know what to do.
They Finally reached the hospital and the icu doctors fixed the problem.But the overdose of morphine and lack of oxygen to her brain sent her body into death mode and the couple would never be able to have children!
A few weeks went by and Leah was ppput into a chemecally indused coma,to protect he rapidly decreasing brain function.Jason sat there and watched Leah slowly forgett how to move and how to breathe.One day Leah woke up and couldn't tell who anybody was but she slowly began to trust and to Love Jason again.He told her who he was and what had happened.She began to remember and then the doctors broke them to the news.Leah was mortified that there wasn't even a possibility.The doctors told her that there would never be a possibility.The couple was devistated by the news.For almost a year they were both residents of the hospital.Taking therapudic courses regularly.The doctor spoke to them and said that he felt that they were ready to return to their home.The couple was so excited,already forgotten about what they could never have.Leah felt permenately attatched to Jason as if he was what was keeping her alive.She wouldnt live without him,she Couldnt live without him.They spent night after night,Day after day discussing moving into their own home.A few months went by and they were almost unpacked when Leah spotted something she hadn't seen before.There was a seperate room behind the front door.she opened the door and switched on the light.A tear fell down her face and she gasped.It was her mother's nursey from when she was young.Leah ran into the room shouting for Jason.Jason ran down the stairs and into the room.He stopped and took it all in for a moment.What is all of this?Jason asked.My mother's nursery.And from then on the couple decided that they WOULD have a baby in their lives,either through adoption or a sheer miracle!
