First you need a pie pumpkin.. most stores have them labled.. you cut it in half and scoop out the seeds. then you take off the stem and put it into a microwave bowl, you may need to cut the pumpkin in quarters or smaller to get it to fit in the bowl.. put a couple of inches of water into the bowl.. let steam on high for 15 minuits then for incrimints of 2 min untill soft.. usually takes 20 to 25 min.
usually it will come out to 2 cups then 3 1/2 c of all purpous flour 2tsp baking soda
3 cups sugar or 3 cups of Splenda OR a 50:50 mix of the two.
4 eggs, beaten 1 cup vegetable oil 1 and 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon allspice 1 cup chopped pecans 1/2 cup raisons
1/2 cup water
yes alot of ingredients i know, but its acutally easy and fun
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and sugar
Add the eggs, water, oil and pumpkin.
Stir until blended.
If desired, add the raisons and/or nuts. Mix well, either by hand or with a mixer.
personally i think mixer is best Pour into two lightly greased and floured 9x5" loaf pans
Bake approximately 1 hour at 350 after that let it cool for a bit then let it cool on a rack out of the pan.. then its ready to serve.....
(Optional) To make it sweeter and to supplement your bread, possibly make some sugar icing to drizzle on the top)

Sweet Potato Pie by Hammy
Ingredients: 2x Large Sweet Potato, 3x Sausages, Puff Pastry, Green Giant Sweet corn, Red Onion, Butter, 10ml Milk, Pinch Salt, pinch sugar, cranberry sauce.
Utensils: Wooden Spoon, Rolling Pin, Table Spoon, Tea spoon, Knife, Fork, Plastic Bowl, Masher, Cake Tin, Potato Peeler, Frying Pan, Saucepan, Spachelor, sharp knife, spoon.
1) Prepare all your ingredients and qualities check them. = 5 minutes
2) Wash your potatoes, peel them and cut them into equal sized chunks = 7 minutes
3) Put a pan of water on and wait until it bubbles ??? 5 minutes
4) Once tender, mash them and mix with butter. ??? 5 minutes
5) Scoop into a tub and seal securely. ??? 2 minutes
2) Set out all your ingredients and transfer the mash into a bowl. ??? 4 minutes
2) Heat the grill and sprinkle a handful of flour onto the table and spread it out ??? 2 minutes
3) Divide your pastry into two and roll one chunk out onto the flour ??? 5 minutes
4) Cover the second chunk in flour and roll it out into a circular shape. ??? 4 mins
5) Put your 3 sausages into the grill and preheat the oven. ??? 1 minute
6) Place your pastry onto the bottom of the cake dish. ??? 1 minute
7) tidy your area. ??? 3 minutes
8) check your sausages. ??? 30 seconds.
9) Fry the onions for 2 minutes.
10) Put the sweet potato on the pastry and add the onions. ??? 3 minutes
11) Take the sausages out so they cool. ??? 1 minute
12) Mash the cloves of garlic and put them onto the pie. ??? 1 minute
13) Chop up your sausages and place them inside the pie. ??? 2 minutes
14) carefully put your other roll of pastry on top and decorate. ??? 3 minutes.
15) Place in the oven on gas mark 4 for 30 minutes.
3) Optional ??? Add sugar on the top or add sweet corn and apple to the dish for flavour.
