In the vast expense of a timeless place
where silence ruled the outer space
Ominously towering it stood;
the symbol of a spirit war
between the one named Lucifer
and the Morning Star, The Ultimate of Good.

Enveloped by a trillion planets
clean as lightning, and as hard as granite
a comic coliseum would host the end
of the war between the Lord of Sin and Death
and the Omnipotent Creator of man's first breath
who will decide forever -
who would be the champion.

The audience for the fight of the ages
was assembled and in place;
The angels came in splendor from a star
the saints that had gone were there -
Jeremiah, Enoch, Job
they were singing the song of Zion
on David's harp.

The demons arrived, defensive and vile,
cursing and blaspheming God,
followed by their trophies dead and gone -
Hitler, Napoleon, Pharaoh, Capone
tormented and vexed, and grieved, waiting for
their judgment from the throne.

Then a chill swept through the mammoth crowd
and the demons squealed with glee
as a sound vulgar repulsive essence was felt;
arrogantly prancing, hands held high
draped in a sparkling shroud trolled by
demons, Satan ascended from hell.

Then Satan cringed, the sinner groaned,
the demons reeled in pain
a swell of power like silent thunder roared;
with a surge of light beyond intense,
illuminating the universe
in resplendent glory appeared the Son of God.

Then a person, yes, extra ordinaire, appeared
in the center ring - God the father will oversee the duel.
Opening the Book of life,
each grandstand hushed in awe
as majestically He said, "Now, here's the rules.
He'll be wounded for their transgressions, bruised for inequities."
When He said, "By His stripes they're healed."
The devil was shocked and said, "Sickness is my specialty I hate that healing junk."
God said, "You shut your mouth - I wrote the Book"

Then the Father looked at His Only Son, and said, " You know the titles, your blood will cleanse their sins and calm their fears."
Then He pointed His finger at Satan, and said, "And I know you know the rules, you've been twisting them to deceive my people for years."
Satan cried, "I'll kill you Christ, you'll never win this fight."

The demons wheezed, "That's right, there ain't no way."
Satan jeered, "You're dead meat Jesus, I'm gonna bust you up tonight."
Jesus said, "Go ahead, make my day."

The bell, the crowd, the fight was on,
The devil leaped in fury, with all his evil tricks he came undone;
He threw his jabs of hate and lust,
a stab of pride and envy, but the hands
that knew no sin, blocked everyone.

Forty days and forty nights they fought
and Satan couldn't touch Him.
Now the final blow saved for the final round
prophetically, Christ hands came down, and
Satan struck in vengeance, the blow of death
felled Jesus to the ground.

The devils roared in victory;
the saints shocked and perplexed
as wounds appeared upon His hands and feet.
Then Satan kicked Him in His side
and blood and water flowed
and they waited for the ten count of defeat.

God the Father turned His head,
Hi tears announcing Christ was dead.
The ten count would proclaim the battle's end.
Then Satan trembled through His sweat in unexpected horror;
"TEN"/ Hey wait a minute God;
"NINE"/ Stop, you're counting wrong!
"EIGHT'? His eyes are moving!
"SEVEN"! His fingers are twitching!
"SIX'? Where's all the light coming from?
"FIVE"/ He's alive!
"FOUR"/ Oh no!
"THREE"! "TWO"/ Oh, yes.
He has won! He has won!
He's alive forevermore.
He is risen. He is Lord.
He is risen. He is Lord.

Proclaim the news in every tongue,
through endless ages and beyond;
let it be voiced from the mountains loud and strong,
captivity has been set free.
Salvation is brought for you and me
cause Satan is defeated,
and JESUS/ IS/ THE/ CHAMPION///.

Cheaters! :[

This actually happened to me and my classmates.

We were having our last class for the day and our teacher asked us to answer crossword puzzles(made by each student) but there were some who forgot their work and so were not able to answer anything at all. Instead those who forgot were asked to make a 250-word essay about a previous lesson. And when as we were doing our activities she kept on repeating that those who are cheating will not be able to take the major exams. It could be that she saw that we were cheating but she indirectly made her point.

When everyone was finished and all essays and puzzles were passed to our teacher she said that she was disapointed with us coz she never thought that she would be seeing us doing and acting like what we did, we were so far from what she expected of us!

And a few moments after that she asked who among us cheated on our work! Most of the class standed up but there were few who didn't stand. Then she asked if anyone from the class could admit that he/she was clean and did not commit any form of cheating. But the worst part is that nobody standed up! Even from the group of persons left sitting before! So she was even more disapointed with us. And so she told us to bow our heads and then she asked us to raise our heads with her was a image of Jesus on the cross. And she said that if she was greatly disapointed God was much more disapointed with us! So she called our class cheaters and left without saying anything at all except that nobody should leave the classroom without asking repentance from God.

After that horrible incident there was an outburst of emotions and some even cried! Then two of my classmates went to see her(the teacher) and she said that we should prepare a letter saying that we would never do such things anymore and have every signature of each student in our class written on it!

So pls if you happen to read this then try to reflect on what happened to me and my classmates. Don't let things get as complicated as what happened to us! Let this serve as a lesson to you!

A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point, he asked:

'Are you writing a story about what we've done? Is it a story about me?'

His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson:

'I am writing about you, actually, but more important than the words is the pencil I'm using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up.'

Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil. It didn't seem very special.

'But it's just like any other pencil I've ever seen!'

'That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which, if you manage to hang on them, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world.

'First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.

'Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpener. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards, he's much sharper. So you, too, must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because that will make you a better person.

'Third quality: the pencil always allows us to use an eraser to rub out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice.

'Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside. So always pay attention to what is happening inside you.

'Finally, the pencil's fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. In just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action'

Our Substitute Teacher

The start of New Year at our school was not that of normal this time, like they say a new year is the start of new beginnings. And this year our adviser went on leave and a new teacher substituted her.

She was an old teacher on our school, so old that she even became my parents' teacher. We all know that she was a very strict teacher and lucky were we to be her students.

We were terified and at her first day she gave us a long sermon about how IRRESPONSIBLE we were. She kept on pointing out our bad side and never on our good side.

She was kind, seldom kind, she sees to it that everything is perfect and in order and kinda stresses all of us. But what we liked about her was that she made us do things that we couldn't or wouldn't do before. We:
1. put a wall clock on our room
2. we got to have a cruxifix on our room as well
3. and we got to have a seat plan

All our other teachers were amazed and told us that only her was able to make us do all this things. Gladly for us she was about to leave. And unfortunately for our real adviser she was going back again and her leave isn't complete yet her leave was only approved for 16 days but the real thing was supposed to be 60 days. Though unfortunate for our mam, I'm still happy and I think we're all happy that she'll be coming back again.

He who comes first, eats first

"He who comes first, eats first." Well I'm not quite sure if this passage from the Bible is true or not. This is because most of the times I come first but don't eat first. It's like I don't think I deserve what just happened to me. I always try my best to think that God has His own way with things.

Though I always think negatively about myself most of the times I get to think much more deeper than I normally do. As I always say life isn't fair and no one can tell what the future holds only you and me can tell what the future shall hold for each and everyone of us. So I end this with another qoute: "Destiny. You can't change the winds of fate."
