Coding, picture editting... so what am I doing?

Well, I was writing code, but the code that mara pets forces us to use is old, bad, wrong, horrible code. I'm in a web design class, I don't want to get the two mixed up, and code that everywhere else has been using for a long time is easier to write, and can do a lot more.

So not only is this not something that I don't want to learn, is difficult and hard to try to get it to work, and people won't pay very much for it. I'ld rather work on my own web site (not mara site). It would be a better use of my time. By coding I spend hours doing work that I might not even get paid for, and when I do get paid I get what I can get from playing games in about 5-10 minutes, maybe 15 if I've played like almost all the games for that day. That is the most unproductive use of my time, and I'm a college student in about 20 credit hours, I can't afford to waste time like that. It's bad enough that I play mara pets in the first place.

So, I'm now picture editing, and that's it, because if you want me to write code for you, in order to make it worth my time, it will cost about 20k/25k for me working on it for an hour, and will take many hours, and no one is going to pay that, not for average code, so I'm not going to do that.

Now, I may try to learn how to do shinny pictures, but I don't know yet.

Adopting Newbies

I don't want to be adopted and I'm not adopting, because I don't really like it much. I understand asking questions about how things work around here, but as far as giving newbies something simply because they're new, not me. I went around in that dress for two or three days, then bought myself some simple clothes, and even flip flops. I have those things because I earned them, not because someone gave them to me. I did have help starting out, don't get me wrong, my sister gave me lots of advice, I read some help sites, and I asked questions on the forums, but my sister hasn't given me anything, and me nothing to her. It may sound a little mean saying not to give thing away like that, but it will only take them a few days to get things like clothes on their own. I made 50k in the past about day and almost half, and bought my pets a nice house, that I earned myself. I'm proud to say that I was never adopted, and I will give advice to anyone who asks for it, I like helping people like that, but I won't adopt, even after I can. And (don't flame me for this, I know there are others who do NOT think this, but this is what I THINK) I see asking someone to adopt you, the same as begging, if you going to post a topic about 'SOMEONE PLEASE ADOPT ME!!!!' then to me you don't want to go play games for a few days so that you get the stuff yourself, you want to beg instead. I know they can seem a little hard at first, but you can get better at them, besides one of the main points of this site is those games, and some of them are really easy.

I don't know I guess my main point is there's a difference between asking for help or advice and just being lazy about things. I know I might have sounded a little mean at some points of that, and I am VERY sorry about that, but newbies don't need someone to give them a bunch of stuff to get started, I didn't have someone give me stuff and I'm doing just fine, there was a few bumps in the road, and some mistakes, but you live and learn.
