The Dreams that Changed my Life

Most people here on Mara know me as a Meta Knight hater. That name shall be no more, I had dream, a dream that changed my look on Meta Knight. I don't know why or how I had it. Perhaps my brother's fault for him metioning what would happen if Meta Knight WAS our older brother. I guess I reversed that to another way around, where Meta Knight had to be my substitute father, after me getting zapped to the Video Game World.

"Night mom!" I called, to my dreamt up mother. "See you in the morning."

I nestled down under my blankets, getting ready to dream up another diabolical picture of Meta Knight for my sketchbook. I yawned and dozed off. A dinosaur like thing, Bowser crawled into my room, and zapped me into the video game realm. I awoke on a mossy rock, and climbed to my feet. I looked around frantically thinking, Okay okay it's just a dream! It wasa dream, but I thought it was real it was so vivid. I got up to explore, then unluckily more villains, just so happens Meta Knight saves me. I take one look at him.

"Yeah I don't like you."

"You don't have to." Came his reply. "But if you wish for survival, you'll have to come with me."

I sighed my surrender and climbed from my spot on the ground. I looked at him, or course he was short, he's a star warrior. I was amazed by how I got a meet a video game character, I would've been happy if it was Kirby, but I got stuck with this moron instead. He lead me away from the deat htrap in the open. I yawned tiredly, he looked at me.

"Your tired?"

"Of course! I was sleeping when I was kidnapped."

He sighed and shook his head. He gestured his head to a village, that did not seem fimilar to me. I began coughing. He whirled around.

"What is the matter!?"

"I was also sick."

"...." He didn't reply, but kept walking.

We stopped in the village and walked to a house. He sighed.

"I guess you'll be staying with me."

I nod and sigh my surrender, there looked to be alot of other kids outside. It made me wonder, why's Meta Knight here? And not in DreamLand? He turned to face him, but he'd walked outside again. I followed him, muttering under my breath. He glared at me, I stepped backward. I mean hey! The guy was going to grab his sword! Of course I backed away. I backed up into the house, then shut the door. A cat began scratching the window. I blinked and walked over. I opened the window. A spine-tingling wind blew in. (Probably my fan being on, by my brother. xD) I jumped back, the cat jumped out the window. It perched itself on my shoulder. I looked at him, and smiled.

"Why hello little kitty!"

Meta Knight walked inside. He looked at me, for some reason I bursted into tears.

"Don't make me get rid of him, please!"

He probably felt sympathy for me, cause he walked on. He then stopped in the doorway to his room.

"There's a guest room, next to my room."

I nodded and walked inside, then froze.

"Um Meta Knight."

"Hm?" Asked Meta Knight.

"You don't even know my name."

"True...."

"Kayla."

"What?"

"Kayla, that's my name."

"Oh."

We both grinned and chuckled. I walked in the room thinking, Hm maybe the knight's not so bad., I yawned at the though of it, and settled into the bed.

I awoke sometime in the morning. I walked into the living room, no one was there. I listened to the sound of swords clashing outside. I trotted out, Meta Knight sat in a tree, cleainging his sword. he looked at me.

"Finally."

he jumped out of the tree, and walked toward me. I stepped backward, looking at the sword, it was least dull! He looked at me.

"What's your problem I thought we were going to put aside our differences after last night."

"Y-Your sword."

He looked at it, and put it in it's shealth. He nodded apologizing.

"Sorry."

"Hm, you saying sorry, never thought I'd hear it."

He grinned and shrugged.

"Well your only what te-"

"Don't say ten I am eleven!"

He grinned, his eyes turning greenish. Green, meaning happy. I looked at him.

"Okay enough of that."

~Now for some odd reason the whole day was skipped, and I was mad at Meta Knight~

"Ugh!" I growled as I slammed the door. I put my face in my pillow. The cat, I'd named Dustle lie next to me.

I sighed sadly, thinkg about how he must be hurt. I walked out. There was no one in the house, but a note on the wall. I read it.

"Be back soon." I grumbled.

I lie down again and sighed. I dozed off, and had a terrible nightmare about the real world. I shot up, crying. I crunched up in a corner, crying still. Meta Knight bursted in and kneeled by my side.

"What's wrong!?"

"She had a bad dream." Said Dustle, sitting on the headrest of the bed.

Meta Knight looked at me, I had my face in my hands. He sighed, and shifted nervously. His armour clanged, and I jumped. He sighed and hugged me. I looked at him.

"Why did you hug me? I thought you hated me."

"I don't hate you."

"After all the mean tings I said?"

"Not even after that, well I know that, if you didn't hate me, you'd be a pretty sweet kid."

I looked at him and smiled. I hugged him back, and crawled back into the bed.

"Night Meta!"

He smiled at me and nodded, he'd didn't take his mask off, but I knew he was smiling.

"Maybe tomarrow I'll teach you how to use a sword." He grinned, turning out the light.

I smiled and nestled back under the covers. I felt something hard in my pocket, and took it out. It was my camera! I opened it and turned it on. I started playing a video, my neighbor, and siblings, and I made together. I started crying again, missing home. He came back in, and looked at me. He walked over and sat beside me. He gazed at the video, and then at me.

"You miss your home, don't you?"

I nodded, tears down my face. He rested his hand on my shoulder.

"Just get some rest, maybe the Full Moon tomarrow night will keep you distracted."

I nodded, and nestled under the blankets. I thought omyself, He's the father I never met., I wiped my eyes on my wrist, and dozed off again.

I awoke with him shaking me. I jumped and shot up.

"Huh?!"

He grinned.

"Rise and shine, I told you I'd teach you."

"Oh!" I climbed out of bed, and tripped. "WAH!"

I fell on the ground, and looked at him, he was laughing. I got up and shook myself off.

"I am, okay!"

He shook his head. "What am I going to do with you?" He smiled.

I grinned and shrugged. "Treat me like your daughter, I've never had a father."

"You haven't?"

"Well I've never met him."

"Hmm, is that so?"

"Yep!"

We walked outside. Bowser was there.

"I've found a parent for that little brat."

I looked at Meta Knight.

"Meta Knight...what does he mean?"

"Kayla, get inside."

"Meta Knight..." I said, wanting to know.

"Kayla." He growled, stern.

I growled and yelled at him. "I thought you were my friend!"

I stormed off inside. He went in after me.

"Kayla!"

I looked at him. He sighed and looked down.

"Kayla, I was going to tell him to stop looking, he didn't listen, I swear!"

I sighed and sat down. I clentched my knees to my chest.

"Do you promise that's what happened?"

"I swear!"

I got up and nodded to him. I grinned.

"Kay!"

He looked at me. He smiled, his eyes turning green again.

"You don't hold grudges do you?"

"No, only to those stupid populars at school though!"

"Haha." He grinned, chuckling.

~Nighttime.~

I looked at the full moon. I smiled and glanced at Meta Knight, Dustle lay on the grass, as did I. I clentched a sword that lie next to me. Suddenly, my old dog Benny walked toward us, a portal like thing behind him. He smiled.

"Meta KNight, it's time for Kayla to go now."

"What!? But she just got here!"

"No, she has not, she's been here to long."

He sighed and smiled at me.

"Be happy to come down whenever you wan't."

I nodded and smiled.

"Don't worry I will!"

Benny smiled and lead me threw the portal.

~Waking up for real.~

I awoke and my siblings were around me. They were yelling and telling me to get up. I had tears down my face, I wiped them, and nodded.

"I'm up!"

~Day 2~

I walked around the town, alone. My blue eyes sparkled at the vivid place. I smiled and ran my fingers threw my hair, it was warmer than last time. I smiled and inhaled. Dustle the cat trotted after me, and jumped onto my shoulder.

"You do know he's looking for you don't you?" He asked me.

I jumped and gasped. I looked around, I'd gotten lost. I mumured.

"Woops."

Meta Knight walked toward us, sighing of relief. I smiled.

"HI META KNIGHT!"

I ran over to greet him. He looked up at me. (Him and his shortness. xD ) He nodded and smiled.

"Hello Kayla."

I nodded in return. I patted Dustle's soft head and hugged him. Meta Knight watched and smiled.

"Did you practice with your sword?"

"Of course not!"

"Oh wait that's right." He said mockingly, and grinning.

I glared at him and smiled.

"What happened to putting aside our differences?"

"Wow your funny."

I shurgged, almost laughing. It was sun down. I yawned tiredly and closed my eyes. He smiled and rolled his cat eyes. (Hey they're yellow, don't yell at me! ) He turned.

"Maybe we should be getting back."

I nodded once and tagged along with him. We started racing, straining to make it before the other.

"HA! I WON!" I cheered with delight.

Suddenly I sighed. He looked at me, as he opened the door.

"Is something wrong?"

"I'm just confused, you wouldn't act like this in the games."

"We all have two sides don't we?"

"Hm...true...."

I yawned again, and walked inside, after him.

"Sooo..." I said trying to make a subject. I mean, hey it was only my second night there!

"Hm?" He asked glancing at me.

"Erm, um, yeah I ran out of topics."

"Agreed, anyways, I've got someone for you to meet tomorrow."

"Cool!"

Meta Knight nodded, he started walking outside. I didn't follow, he glanced at me.

"Are you coming?"

"Oh yeah, sorry!"

I followed him, looking around the village. I blinked and looked down at him. I looked up.

"Maybe I should go now."

Benny walked toward us and nodded. Meta Knight sighed.

"Bye, Kayla."

I waved and walked toward the portal.

~Day 3~ ((I'll try to remember it, so far this one was most interesting, besides the first one.))

In the real world (For real real.)

"Alright alright, I'm going to bed, just let me say bye to my friend, and turn off the computer."

I said bye to whomever I was talking to, and logged off, I dragged myself up to my room. I lay in the bed, anxious to get to sleep. I soon dozed off....

~In dreamworld BD~

I walked around the village exploring with excitement, I looked around for Meta Knight. I grumbled unhappily, the knight was no where in sight. Dustle the cat jumped onto my shoulder.

"Must we go through this again?" He asked me.

I gave a grin, and began scratching under his ear. He purred gently, forgetting about what he had said. Meta Knight walked toward me.

"Ugh, your always roaming when I find you." He said. "Can't you stay in one spot til I find you?"

"Sure Mety, all you had to do was ask." I grinned at him.

He rollled his eyes, then shrugged.

"Anyways, I'm planning to introduce you to some friends."

"Sweet! Nintendo characters?"

"Of course, and perhaps one sega."

"SONIC!"

~My fingers hurt, and I just awoke in the morning.~
