'Silence. Absolute silence.' A small woman stood leaning against a large oak tree, her long black hair being blowed gently by the wind. It tickled her pointed ears(as she was, indeed, an elf) so she stroked it out of her crystal blue eyes and sighed of annoyance. "Why is it so quiet?" she asked herself, and even though her voice was barely above a whisper, it seemed to echo. Not even a bird sang to the beat of the stream trickling in the background, no crickets or grasshoppers sang to each other. Not even the wind blew through the willow trees, singing it's hushed songs only the woodlands and nymodes could understand.
Mia was Princess of the Elves, a young woman about 19 or 20 (as elves did not count their age properly, only based it on looks) and she had heard rumors of a pleague that was spreading round the creatures. 'Except for those vampires,' she thought to herself with annoyance. 'I bet they started it. Nothing /ever/ happens to them.' she rolled her eyes and stood up, looking at the hazy, grey sky. Under normal conditions, it would be blue, but not today. Rain was coming, and it chilled the air.
"I better see if I can find Prince," she said and started towards the marble castle enterance. She had a feeling that something was very wrong. As she walked, cold rain started pouring from the sky, soaking her emerald silk gown and wetting her dark hair. She held her back straight and walked past the guards, who bowed and tilted their silver, gold incrested swords to her. As soon as she was in, however, she started shiving and a maid hurriedly put a soft, heavy blanket over her tanned, bare shoulders. Mia thanked her and sighed, looking for the prince.

5th Aug 2009 19:05 Long, long ago, there was a realm of elves, faeries, dwarfs, vampires, and many other mythical creatures. Sweeping the lands of Eidoe, no humans in existence, living together
in harmony. They all lived in peace for many years...until one day the vampire realm released a poison into the air that was meant to kill off the other creatures so they alone could rule. All who didn't get the disease, the blood suckers would feed off of.
Two elves, prince and princess, venture off to find a cure for this disease. Of course, something dreadful happens. The prince gets sick with the disease, too.
An angel named Crystal flies down to help him, As well as a vampire who follows close behind. His main objective is to try to kill off the heirs, so he keeps putting poison in their way. Can they make it before it's too late?
