The Straya can now wear the Splatter and Recycled Costumes. The Headless Straya has also been updated.

Two new items are now on sale at the Giftbox Shop. The Colours Giftbox allows you to play Colours once every 8 hours instead of 16 hours - for life! This means you'll earn double the transformations for your pet's collection. The Guillotine Giftbox allows you to use the Guillotine feature once every 8 hours instead of 16 hours.

We've added many new benefits that each player can unlock when they each a certain level of our Progress Goals. There was already a lot of great benefits from being Bronze, Silver and Gold but as these are each 25 levels apart, it was time to add some perks for the levels in between! Here are the newest benefits that are unlocked once you reach these levels or higher...

Level 24 - Hatch Instantly all Glowing Eggs added to your Nest can be hatched instantly.
Level 26 - Shusan allows you to carry 12 socks instead of 10.
Level 28 - Double Potatoes whenever Guess the Weight competition is won, receive 2 potato prizes instead of one!
Level 30 - Clock Tower can be visited every 12 hours instead of 24 hours.
Level 33 - Double Charisma from Murfin Madness - earn double the stats you normally would each time.
Level 35 - Bigger Inventory carry a maximum of 100 items instead of 70.
Level 37 - Charisma Stats earned from each School session will be 1 in 3 chance instead of 1 in 4.
Level 40 - Double Photos whenever you win a photo at the Telescope.
Level 43 - Double Photos whenever you use the Webcam feature.
Level 45 - Double Plates whenever you use the Resort feature.
Level 47 - Magic Beans take 50% less time to grow into a Beanstalk.

Level 57 - Charisma Stats earned from each School session will be 1 in 2 chance instead of 1 in 3.
Level 61 - 25% Less Unversity all pet sessions at the University will be 25% less and this does stack with the University Giftbox.
Level 63 - Extra Wishes from the Genie. The genie grants four wishes instead of her usual three.
Level 65 - Win Pies for yourself too whenever you hit another player with a pie at Pie Throw.
Level 67 - Headless Costume item will be won rather than the Decapitating Fairy turning your pet headless at the Guillotine. This means that your pet will be safe to use this feature without changing.
Level 70 - Double Recycle Points whenever you recycle a can, used magazine or newspaper.
Level 75 - Double Magic Beans whenever you win a Magic Bean from the Extract Enpiah game.

The Sword in the Stone game in Baspinar's Castle has been relaunched.
You can play once every 15 Minutes for 50BP if you are  Level 50 or higher, 75BP if you are  Level 25 or higher or 100BP.

If you manage to pull the sword from the stone, you will win the MP Jackpot which has now been increased.

Even if you do not pull the sword, you may now receive a Magic Stat or Charisma Stat for a random pet. Remember, with the Pet Stats Giftbox in your collection, you can select which pet will receive the stats before you play!

You may also randomly win a Bonus Prize as you play - which includes the five King Baspinar Swords and 5 new Trading Cards.

A new game has been released in Simeria. You can play the classic game of Mill once per day for FREE. Game resets at 00:00MST.

Mill starts with each player, in turns, adding one of their nine pieces on an intersection of a horizontal and a vertical line of the grid. Whenever a player has three of their pieces in a horizontal or vertical row, they've created a Mill and can capture any piece of their opponent. Once both players have all of their pieces on the board, they must move one of their pieces to an adjacent free space when it's their turn. Capture seven of your opponent's pieces (so that they cannot create another Mill) to win. You cannot capture a piece from a Mill unless there are no other pieces to take. If your opponent cannot make a move on their turn you will also win the game.

If you win the game of Mill you will win 7,500MP and two entries to the raffle. If you lose or draw, you'll still win 1,750MP and one entry to the raffle. There will be three daily winners of a random Blood prize based on raffle entries earned.

For centuries the Kamilah Traveller has been finding Kamilah Codes on his journey through the Kamilah Desert and rewarding them to all who complete his quests. Kamilah Codes are an ancient language lost in time, needed to navigate through the Kamilah Pyramid.

You will see these ancient symbols on the walls inside each level of the pyramid. Tap and clear all of the matching Kamilah Codes to proceed to the next level.You will lose a life whenever you have a Kamilah Code remaining that you cannot match.

A new game has been added to the Undying Woods. Jasper, the hostile ghost of Undying Woods loves to make visitors cry. Are you brave enough to play a game of Phantom Four against him?

When it's your turn, drop one of your orange pieces into a column at the top of the board. You'll win if you are the first to make a straight line of four of your pieces. A line can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal.

You can play Phantom Four for FREE once per day. Game resets at 00:00MST. Win a game against Jasper for 5,000MP a Magic Stat and a Charisma Stat for one of your pets. Lose or draw for 500MP and a Charisma Stat.
Remember, if you have the Pet Stats Giftbox in your collection, you can also select which pet will receive this stat before you play!

Win, lose or draw and you may also be one of three daily winners of a random retired item from his Prize List. We have selected 60 retired items from past Halloween and Undying Festival events as his daily raffle prizes.

As we have mentioned in the past, having over 22,500 of our 59,000 items retired (with their supply shrinking each day) isn't sustainable or fun. When we first started over fifteen years ago, retiring items forever seemed like a good idea because no thought was given then for a decade and a half into the future! Items will still continue to retire but it's meaning has changed several times over the years. One thing that hasn't changed though is that once an item retires, it will never be re-released to be easier, cheaper or more readily avaliable than when the item was first introduced!

Another of our oldest features has been relaunched. The Anagram Sam game in Dukka Caves never made sense, it asked you to complete puzzles so difficult the only way most people could win was by cheating and even if you did manage it without, it wasn't fun! We revamped the artwork for Sam months ago waiting for the final version of the game to be released and here it is!

You can play Anagram Sam for FREE once every hour. Sam is a Crikey who likes to swim in and around the waters of Dukka Caves. He helps to keep the Dukka Town Item Wishlists organised, and knows everything about every item in Marada and loves to play games with them.
Sam will give you six different letter tiles he found floating by and you will have 90 Seconds to try and solve as many of the words (words only found in Marapets item names) he has chosen that contain only these letters.

Once the time is up, he will reveal all of the words he selected and reward you for each word you guessed correctly.
You will earn 25MP for each letter in each word you guess correctly.
If you manage to solve his special bonus word (shown on the golden yellow tiles) you will earn 100MP for each letter in this word.
You will also gain one entry to his daily raffle per play.


Anagram Sam may also reward you with a special bonus prize from his Prize List each time you play. Sam loves letters so much, his bonus prizes include many items that have letters on them, such as Hieroglyphics, Runes and Toy Blocks!

There will be three daily winners of a random Blood prize based on raffle entries earned.

A new game has been released in Dukka Caves. You can play our Colours game for FREE once every 16 hours. This new game is very similar to the classic card game of Crazy Eights and the Mattel brand game of UNO.

Each game of Colours will be either against one, two or three players. Players will be dealt random cards and take it in turns to place cards down. The winner is the first player to have no remaining cards. On a player's turn, they must play a card that matches the number, colour or symbol of the card on the table, play a wild card (if they have one) or pick up a new card, which they can play if it's possible.There are also several action cards in the game, forcing players to pick up extra cards, miss their next move or change the directon of play. It's important to remember that when you only have one card remaining, you must press the 1 Button on the table or you'll have to pick up two more cards!

Win a game of Colours for 2,500MP and a random colour Transformation for one of your pets. Your pet will change to a random colour and/or species and then change back, possibly earning a new transformation for its collection. If you have the Pet Stats Giftbox in your collection, you can also select which pet will receive this transformation before you play! Lose a game for 250MP.

One of our oldest (and worst!) features has been relaunched. The Crossword game in Candyland has had the same 9 puzzles since July 2010, switching between each one weekly. These are gone! Our brand new Crossword has over 2,000 Marapets related clues and words it can select from, automatically creating a different, new and unique puzzle game for you to play each time.

This game can now be played for FREE once per day, resetting at 00:00MST daily. The guaranteed prize starts at 12,500MP and the game will automatically end whenever the full Crossword grid is completed correctly.

Backgammon is one of the oldest board games in the world, first played in Simeria over 5,000 years ago. The goal is to be the first player to move all of your pieces off of the board. A new Easter Account Upgrade Set has been released, with 7 new Easter themed items, a retired Easter Costume and either an Easter Enchanted Plushie or Easter Potion. This set is on sale until May 11th. You can choose if you would like the main prize to be an Enchanted Easter Plushie or Potion. There is 1 in 3 chance you will receive a restricted Straya instead of Equilor, Feliz, Flab, Leido, Kaala, Newth, Osafo, Tantua and Xoi. After this, the Straya will not be released in Account Upgrades again until 2022.

The Easter Bunny is back in Marada! Decorate your profile and dress up your character for the celebrations, in pinks and golds and purples. The Easter Bunny will be visiting profiles and you may get rewarded for those who impress her. The Easter Bunny is not like Beelzebub, she is shy and easily scared away! Be nice and she will be running contests, games and giveaways on the Forums - 10 lucky winners will receive a retired Splatter Costume while others will win retired Easter Eggs and other great items! Naughty players will scare her away or receive only Carrots.

A new game of 2048 has been released in Biala Mountain. The ultimate puzzle block game. The goal of 2048 is to score 2048, by combining the number tiles to gain a higher number. The game starts with two tiles with the number 2. You then swipe up, down or sideways to combine two tiles of the same number, to create a higher number tile.

The rules are simple. Move the tiles and every time you move one, another tile pops up in a random box. When two tiles with the same number on them collide with one another as you move them, they will merge into one tile with the sum of their numbers (2 + 2 = 4, etc). The game will end when you have no more moves.

Earn 5MP per point. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play. 2048 can be played up to 3 times per day.

A new game has been released in Ziranek. Visiting a busy, modern city like Ziranek can be very confusing. Visitors and locals alike are frequently lost, which is why it's known as the Maze city. One wrong turn and you could hit a dead end. Can you find your way out before the timer ends?

Complete an easy maze for 1,750MP, a normal maze for 2,500MP and a hard maze for 5,000MP. You will also gain entry to its daily raffle.

You can play Maze for FREE once per day. Each maze is different and you will only win a prize if you complete the Maze before the time runs out.
It has a daily raffle with two winners of a Capsule Machine Token and one winner of the retired Server Move Care Package item.

Two new Games have been added to Biala Mountain, the classic puzzle game Sudoku and Wordoku, a Sudoku game using letters.

With 365 days of winter in Biala Mountain, its residents love to spend the dark, cold nights solving puzzles. The goal is to fill the 9 by 9 grid so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3 by 3 boxes (also known as blocks or regions) contains the numbers from 1 to 9. You must not repeat any numbers in each of the nine, 3 by 3 boxes. Wordoku is similar, but uses letters instead of numbers.

Win an easy game to earn 2,500MP and one entry to the daily raffle. Normal difficulty rewards 5,000MP and 2 entries and hard rewards 7,500MP and 3 entries. There is a timer and your score will be based on how fast you complete it, how many hints you use and if you turned the notes on but the score does not affect your MP.

Baby and toddler pets are left at this Puchalla Village day care centre by their busy owners. Keeping it is tidy at the end of each busy day is a challenge. Each time you trap the Knight's pieces, they will change to your pieces. You can change the game settings to show all possible moves and the number of pieces you will capture from each move. The game will end when there are no more moves and the winner is the player with the most pieces.

The goal of Draughts is to take all of the Knight's pieces or make them unable to move. You have the white pieces and get to go first. You can only move forwards and diagonally on the darker squares of the board. If you reach the far edge of the board, you'll be crowned 'King' and can then move forwards and backwards. Whenever your piece has the Knight's piece adjacent to it and the square immediately beyond the Knight's piece is vacant, you can and must capture their piece.

The goal of Chess is to trap your opponent's king (checkmate). There are six different pieces and they all have their own way of moving. When a king is threatened with capture (but can protect himself or escape), it's called check and you must make a move to take the king out of check. Checkmate happens when a king is placed in check and no moves can be made to escape. A checkmate will end the game. If a pawn reaches the opponent´s edge of the table, it will be promoted – the pawn may be converted to a queen, rook, bishop or knight, as the player desires.

Planet Enpiah is constantly being hit with asteroids and ancient Space Rocks. As they approach, you can move and rotate them to fit. Whenever you fill a horizontal line with space rocks, you will clear it and earn points. The game will end when you let the space rocks reach the top.

Earn 1MP per 3 points. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play. Space Rocks can be played up to 3 times per day.

Santa has a lot of naughty and nice players to remember each Christmas and his memory isn't the best! He uses this game of Memory to train his elves. Cards are laid face down and you can click on two at a time to turn them face up. The goal of the game is to turn over pairs of matching cards before the time runs out.

Who remembers our old flash game Memory Pets? This is a new and improved version of this Marapets classic!

Ziranek is a futuristic city, using the latest technology to be as efficient and sustainable as possible. With limited amount of space, all new buildings here have to be a Skyscraper. Before Ziranek, the highest buildings in Marada were the pyramids of Kamilah Desert. Ziranek now has both the tallest and most number of skyscrapers in Marada but needs your help keeping this record.

Our fifth version of solitaire has been released. Triple Pyramid Solitaire has been added to Kamilah Desert. The goal of Triple Pyramid Solitaire is to clear all of the cards from the three pyramids. Cards are shuffled and arranged into three pyramids, each one four cards high. The cards at the bottom are face up, the higher ones are face down. Remove cards from the pyramid if they are one card higher or lower than the card on the stock below. Aces can be matched with a King or a Two. If there are no matches, use the arrows to select a new card from the pile.

Earn 1MP per 1 point. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play. Triple Pyramid Solitaire can be played up to 3 times per day.

We'd like to give all of our players an update on our plans for the next couple of months here at Marapets. First we'd like to make sure all of our players are safe and well and following the current advice of health and government officials regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This is an extremely stressful and emotional time for many of us and we'd like to make sure Marapets doesn't add to this, so we're pausing our random Weather Events for the next couple of months.

We know that many of you are self isolating and spending much more time at home, so we're working hard to release over a year's worth of planned new content, updates, games, features and rewards in April and May to keep you all entertained (and distracted).

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be back in a couple of weeks and we are also bringing back our June badge collecting event for 2020.

A fun, new and much faster version of solitaire has been released. Pyramid Solitaire has been added to Kamilah Desert. The goal of Pyramid Solitaire is to clear all of the cards in the pyramid. A standard 52 card deck is shuffled and then arranged into a pyramid. Click on any two cards that add up to 13 to clear them. For example, you can only clear an 8 card with a 5 card. You can only clear the visible cards at the bottom of the pyramid. Cards are valued according to their number, with Jacks as 11 and Queens as 12. Kings are 13 so they can be discarded. If you cannot match any more cards, you can deal cards from the deck. You can only go through the entire deck three times.

Earn 1MP per 3 points. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play. Pyramid Solitaire can be played up to 3 times per day.
