A new quest game has just opened in the Kamilah Desert. The Kamilah Desert is one of the driest, remote areas of Marada. The Kamilah Traveller rides on his pet Hump throughout the desert and needs many different supplies along the way for his journey. Bring him the items that he needs before the time limit and he may reward you with a rare Kamilah Code he found along his travels. These are needed for access through the Kamilah Pyramid.

NEW FEATURE
This ancient Temple has been opened for you to explore. Its very dangerous, so you can only send in one pet at a time and while the pet is inside the temple, you cannot trade or exchange the pet. Make sure you are prepared - the temple has many obstacles, 30 levels some say, but not many have made it all the way to the treasure deep inside! While inside the temple, your pet will notice many closed, locked doors while can only be opened with the mutated scientific knowledge only a DNA Minipet holds.

At each level of the Temple, you will get a prize. It can be either items, currency, pet stats or Account Upgrade Credit. There is no time limit for completing the Temple, but you can only complete one level every 24 hours. If you manage to reach level 30, you will be able to choose any Trading Card you are missing from your Battle Deck. You will not receive the item, it will be added straight to your Battle Deck.






The new Temple of Transumption has been added to the Lost City of Simeria map.

NEW EVENT
Marapets reached 6 Years Old on August 15, 2010. Happy (belated) Birthday Marapets! We are now into our 7th year and want to make this year our best ever! We started by bringing back the Site Layout changing every hour so that you now know when it is night and day in Marada. We have also brought back Secret Blogs and the Monthly Checklist and will be fixing everything that needs fixing and bringing back features that are either not working or never finished. For example, we should soon have Gardens, more celebrity dress up games, trophies and Promote Marapets coming back. We also have huge aims for this year to further develop all of the world maps we already have, especially Lowlyhood and Kamilah Desert, and also release another 2 worlds! Marapets will also be going international with the more languages! There is so much planned for this year, so stick around, you won't be dissapointed!

To celebrate our 6th Birthday, there are new items being added around the site as prizes. These will all retire on September 1st. Good luck collecting them!

NEW FEATURE
We have just added The Lake to Lush Lake. The Lake in Lush Lake has the cleanest, purest drinking water in the whole of Marada. Maradans bring their pottery here and fill it with water. Pottery with water in it can be used to water the gardens in your houses when you plant seeds to grow Organic Minipets. Lush Lake has been suffering from a drought in recent years and water levels in the Lake have become dangerously low. To limit how much water is taken out of the lake, you will need a Lush Lake Ticket to fill your pottery.

NEW GAME
The Lush Tombola has just been released in Lush Lake. Similar to the other Tombola Games from the same Tombola franchise, you can win a stamp, dvd, book or a Lush Lake Ticket. If you lose, you may also receive some Olympic Points!


The Lush Lake map will be updated shortly. For now, you can find the Lush Tombola in the Luck Games section of the Games page.

Although we are not happy about it, we have decided to change the Marapets Site Time by 8 hours. There is no specific reason other than its the best time for the site to update. With all the features we have now, a lot of changes happen at midnight and midnight UK time is one of the busiest times of the day for the site. Although its not an issue right now, it may become an issue in the future. So after almost 6 years of UK time on this UK Site we have had to change.
