The Merman is the fastest in the ocean, and he loves to challenge pets to races, offering prizes for those who can keep up. Living in Jenoa, Merman has the stamina to swim for years without any rest. The higher your pet stamina is, the greater he will reward them.
The Merman has been added to the Jenoa world map and the Rewards page.

We have had a lot of hunt based events recently and to make up for it, we have doubled the prizes everyone has received! VALENTINE'S DAY EVENT
It's that time of year again! Love it or loathe it, our Valentine's Day event has just started. Love Hearts will randomly appear anywhere on the page at any time while you are playing Marapets. Click them and you may win a prize! Find as many as you can until February 28th before these prizes RETIRE. If you are in the top 250 list of winners, you will also win 1,000,000MP and a Bunnysaurus Trading Card.
The Valentine Costume was first released in February 2009 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. A new version of the Valentine Account Upgrade has been released, with 8 new valentine themed items and either a Valentine coloured Tasi or Tantua Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire February 29th.
The Astro, Azul, Decadal, Limax, Sindi, Tantua, Tasi, Vixen and Zetlian can now wear the Valentine Costume.
