With Queen Eleka's evil plan now public, King Baspinar is taking no chances. He has Marada's best scientists secretly preparing for war in this old abandoned soda factory. Our third level based Game has been released.

Wacky Workshop has been added to Enpiah and has 60 levels for you to complete. Connect the pipes of this workshop to fill the bottle with his secret brew. Do this in the fewest moves to earn extra stars. You must earn three stars to complete a level.


Wacky Workshop (just like Pearl Hurl and Pumpkin Patch) has 60 Level Reward Prizes. These are one time prize rewards you will win as a bonus prize for each level. You only receive these once, as you can only complete each level once. You can play Wacky Workshop up to 4 times per day for FREE. Earn 1MP per 3 points. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play - if you complete a level with MP for its Level reward, you will receive the bonus MP too! Play and complete a level for the first time and you must send score to unlock the next level. Game resets at 00:00MST.




The main item prizes for this game are 3 retired items, Cola Potato, Can Trading Card and Soda Stamp from the 2006 Mega Marapoptastic Extraveganza Event and a Capsule Machine Token.

Another great prize for this game is the chance to skip any level of the Ublish's Lair Mission.
There are 15 levels that you will earn this reward, they stack and will be saved to your account to use at Ublish's Lair whenever you need to.
Whenever you start a Ublish's Lair mission, you can use one of these to pass the level without bringing the items that Ublish has asked for. You will move to the next level of the mission but you will forfeit any MP or item reward that mission level was to reward you but still gain any Hidden Avatar and pass any Goal related to that mission.

BREAKING NEWS
There have been new, very interesting developments on King Baspinar's self imposed lockdown. This story starts before his majesty's Palladium Jubilee celebrations, when oil was seen gushing from the ground just outside of Biala Mountain. This could be seen for many miles and was blocking the beautiful view of Marada from the King's castle. While most of Marada quickly forgot about it, the King could not and he traced it back to the Yeti family, Biala Mountain natives.

Dave the Yeti and his wife Beti were living in Biala long before a town was established. They've watched it grow forever bigger, with each new development taking away more of their natural habitat. When their children, Sweati, Confetti and Macheti were born, they needed a bigger cave. Digging deeper into the Biala Mountain rock they struck oil - which is what we all saw!

Queen Eleka heard of their discovery and has a new evil plan. Instead of pushing forward with her sardine oil assassination plot, she will Mine Marada for all of its oil. She'll use it to rebuild her castle and ultimately, reclaim her power. The King was one of the first to hear of her plans and went into hiding....

With just a straw and his family, Dave can drink all of the oil before Queen Eleka is able to Mine Marada. When the Yetis smell oil under the ground they will stop at it. Tap and hold until their extendable straw is the correct length to reach the oil under foot. If the straw is too short or too long to reach any oil the game will end.

Earn 25MP per point. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play. You may also win a random bonus item prize whenever you send your score. Mine Marada can be played up to 3 times per day.




Can you find the 'Mine Marada' Hidden Avatar?

There are new rewards that you can win from Pumpkin Patch.

Once you have completed a level and earned the one time only Level Rewards you will instead earn these new High Score Rewards each time you play and score high enough for a prize. These prizes are in addition to any MP you earn from the game. You can click the 'High Score Rewards' link on every game's page to see which score you need for each prize.

A new Venomous Victory feature has been released in Eleka's Castle.

Complete the Venomous Victory Treasure Map to permanently unlock this feature. You can then play this for FREE once every 24 Hours.

This map is currently in the Mad Scientist themed Account Upgrades set.

Roll the dice to move ahead on the board (roll a six and you can roll the dice again) and you will add MP to the prize pot at each move.
You could also earn your pet a Transformation or stat.

If you reach a Ladder, you will climb it and win a random Photo item prize. Stop at a Poera and you'll be swallowed, go backwards and this venomous attack will earn your pet a random transformation, without risk of it ever changing!

Your pet will only change to a random colour and/or species and then change back. If you have the Pet Stats Giftbox in your collection, you can also select which pet will receive the transformations and stats before you play.

Beat the skull to the end of the board to win the MP in the prize pot. You will also be given the choice to change your pet to any of the transformations you have earned during this game for FREE.

Lose the game and your pet will get sick and you will not win the MP in the prize pot.

After a week or so of rain, it's slowly stopping and the sun has come through, creating a beautiful Rainbow. The Rainbow Fairy informs us that a rainbow in Marada lasts around 6 to 24 hours usually but she thinks this time it'll be around for about 48 hours or 72 hours at the most!
What happens when there is a Rainbow? Well...

All Rainbow Pets will receive FREE training at the Gym and Elite Gym and FREE lessons at the School and University.

Whenever there is a rainbow in Marada, the Operations Portal, Whirlpool, Vortex Park Reservoir and Foxfire Pond are guaranteed to change your pet's colour, species or both!

The Account Upgrades Shop has a 2 for 1 promotion on all DNA items.

With all the beautiful colours in the sky, Drew doesn't need any more colour! He will only ask for the colour white, which is default for every player. This means you can complete his quests without the Glowing Egg collection requirement.

Play a game of Colours during the rainbow and even if you lose a game, you will still be a winner! Win, draw or lose this game and you'll get 2,500MP and a random colour Transformation for one of your pets.
Your pet will change to a random colour and/or species and then change back, possibly earning a new transformation for its collection. If you have the Pet Stats Giftbox in your collection, you can also select which pet will receive this transformation before you play!

The Leprechaun is busy chasing the rainbow. You'll have to wait until this rainbow leaves to complete his quests.

Whenever the rainbow appears, the retired Rainbow Treasure Chest is back on sale at the Account Upgrades Shop.
It will automatically retire again when the rainbow leaves Marada.

The Costumes, Contact Lenses, Eye Make Up, Face Make Up, Fake Costumes and Hair Dye Shops all have a 2 for 1 special on all items.

Complete a Farming quest and if you win a Ball of Yarn you will receive 2.

And finally, if your minipet can change colour, it will change colour when it rides the Fasoro Falls.

Introducing our new image upload service... Mara.Pics

Back in 2004 when MaraPets first launched, players needed a way to upload the images they use for their profiles, signatures, clubs, MaraSites, etc so MaraUploads was launched. Even though it was very basic and only gave each player 1MB of space, providing that to thousands of people for FREE was both expensive and a lot of hassle. In November 2009 we finally discontinued MaraUploads - there were much better FREE options on the internet and it simply did not provide us with good value for money.

Fast forward to today (ten and a half years later!!) and Mara.Pics has opened today for beta testing!

We believe once again that MaraPets players needed a quick and easy service to upload their images for FREE and will explain how and why in this news post. This service is provided FREE of charge to all Level 18 or higher players.

As your level increases, so does the amount of features and space you can use. Players can currently receive as much as 1GB (1,000MB) of FREE space, with lots of plans to increase and improve the service in the future.

You can simply visit https://mara.pics/ domain for now to access the service. It will automatically log you in if you are logged in MaraPets.

We have worked hard to make sure that Mara.Pics is very quick and easy to use and will explain some of its features below:

There are several ways to upload an image - we only accept PNG, JPG and GIF images. You can press the Browse button to upload multiple photos from your computer, tablet or mobile device. You can also select files from your computer and simply Drag & Drop them into the grey area that says 'Drop your photos here'. Level 30 and higher can take and upload photos directly from their mobile, tablet or laptop's camera - or webcam if they have one.

If you are working on graphics from many programs, like Photoshop, GIMP, etc you can copy any image direct from this program and simply Paste It (Ctrl + V) into the Mara.Pics upload page and it will automatically upload what you have copied!

Once uploaded, you can view your Photos in order of most recently uploaded or use the Organise section to move, rename and organise your photos into different folders. We even made each photo preview look like the Photo items on Marapets!

Even for those who do not have any images to upload or feel they have no use for this service, we've added one very useful feature! If you have an error or glitch around MaraPets that you want to report to us at the Help Forums, you can now very easily upload a Screenshot! Simply press the 'Prt Sc' button on your keyboard (or the screenshot buttons on your mobile/tablet device) and then when you get to the Mara.Pics upload page you can Paste It to automatically upload it!

Upload just one image at a time and it will automatically give you the option to Crop & Resize. We have also made it very easy for you to use any image that you upload - with quick copy and share buttons for MaraPets and social media!

Using the new Mara.Page Builder? The images you have uploaded to Mara.Pics will automatically be loaded into the page builder allowing you to simply drag and drop images into your Mara.Page directly from Mara.Pics!

A new Mad Scientist Account Upgrade Set has been released, with 7 new Mad Scientist themed items, a retired Mad Scientist Costume and either 5 or 6 random pieces of a new Treasure Map. This set is on sale until July 20th. There is 1 in 3 chance you will receive 6 random pieces instead of 5 - no set you purchase will have duplicate pieces. This set will be on sale for over two months because the Venomous Victory Treasure Map is for access to a new feature that will not be released until the end of this month or early next month.

We've made several updates to make this easier for all players who would like to make a page of their own.

Your Mara.Page has a new shorter link using your username(s) such as https://mara.page/Ian

You can use our new Page Builder to create your own website without having to know any HTML coding! Create a new page and then use the Page Builder to drag and drop your own grid. Once you have the grid how you want everything to be positioned, you can drag and drop links, images, buttons or your own HTML Code. We only recommend you using the page builder for new pages.

When our new Mara.Pics image upload service is launched later this year, you will be able to upload photos easily at Mara.Pics and then they'll show at the Page Builder, allowing you to click and drag these into it!

If you just want to make a simple page, you can use our new Default Editor. It works similar to how you would send an email or use a program like Microsoft Word, allowing you to format and position the basic features you need to make your page. You do not need to know any coding to work this!

For those who do know how to use CSS/HTML, you can use the brand new HTML Editor for Mara.Pages! It works just like a proper HTML Editing program - it'll automatically colour and format your script for you, help predict and hint with the code you are writing and automatically check for any errors. If you make a mistake, it'll give you hints!

BREAKING NEWS
King Baspinar is becoming increasingly paranoid and has hired the Fortune Teller from Slater Park to predict his future. The outlook doesn't look great for him - she can see that there are several plots to overthrow him! Did you know you could visit the Fortune Teller for FREE every 3 hours? The mysterious Anastasia is eager to pass on her words on wisdom to you.

Anastasia will predict your future. She will share with you her wise words or her future predictions and she is usually right! She will give you a time and date and a clue about what will happen. What you do with her prediction is down to you.

Visit the site when she gives you an exact time and you will (most likely) receive a Random Event. Depending on her hints, these could be good or bad but they are usually better than normal Random Events you will receive as you play. She can also predict when you are next going to win from certain feature or game. These predictions can be between tomorrow and two weeks into the future - you will need to remember when and where and visit those days to win! These are a great way to pass those random levels for Goals - she will predict when you will win a Tombola game or climb higher than normal in the Jackpot Pyramid for example. She will also help you know when your pet may next get offered a Job Promotion.

It's been seven weeks since King Baspinar has been seen or heard from. When Rune Rescue was announced, there was much excitment with the new discovery of Rune V, X and Y. These letters of the ancient Simerian language had been missing for centuries, found stuck at the top of a new Temple. Archeologists have been able to use the full alphabet to understand more about Simeria and one message in particular has the whole of Marada talking!

The newest temple (Simerian residents hope it will open to the public later this year) has a very detailed story written inside its walls, possibly explaining why the ancient city of Simeria collapsed several thousand years ago. The shows how a rich but gready leader is suddenly poisoned and overthrown by a brutal war, won by magic evil geese. What could this mean?

There are new rewards that you can win from Rune Rescue. Every time you send a score that is high enough, you will win one of these new item prizes. Just like the other High Score Rewards, you will only win one prize each time you send a score high enough. These prizes are additional to any MP, Score Points or Bonus Prizes you may also win. You can click the 'High Score Rewards' link on any game to see which score you need for each prize. Prizes include 3 new Runes which the Transubstantiation Temple can ask for.

Today is May 9th, which everybody knows is National Lost Sock Awareness Day. This is Shusan's Day where the whole world joins her in celebrating having matching pairs of socks! Today is the day to say good bye to all of the single socks. Now is the time to let go and move on. Clean out all of your left behind socks! Or you can complete her quests between now and May 20th and she will give a random player online a brand new matching pair of socks!

There are 18 new socks and 9 other prizes to be won from this event that will all retire. She may even give you a matching pair too!

After a recent period of calm, moderate weather conditions it has now started Raining in Marada - just as our scientists predicted! The last time Marada had rain, it sadly developed into the destructive Storm Maranormous. Could this be the reason for King Baspinar's self isolation? Does he know something that we do not? As always, whenever there is Rain in Marada the following happens:

The rain has brought with it stronger winds, causing the Windmill to spin faster and generate more electricity. You will be guaranteed to gain a stat for your pet from it and all electricity bills will be FREE at the Power Station.

Completing a level on any Mission during this rain and you'll win a random Umbrella for your Wardrobe.


The Books, CDs, DVDs and Video Game Shops all have a 2 for 1 special on all items to help you keep your pets entertained inside while it rains.

The rain has made the Lake in Lush Lake flood. For your own safety, you cannot currently visit.

With Lush Lake flooded from the rain, the Coffee, Contact Lenses, Hair Dye, Lipsticks and Olympic Shops are all closed.

With the miserable rainy weather outside, pets are concentrating better at School, the Gym, Elite Gym and University and earning Double Stats.

Pets are all working harder at their jobs as it rains outside. This means there is TRIPLE the chance of receiving a Job Promotion random event and DOUBLE the chance of the promotion actually being given by your pet's boss!

While you wait for the bad weather to pass, why not play our Puzzle Games? All games with a Daily Raffle will have double winners for each prize! For example, the Solitaire raffle now has two winners of £5 Account Upgrade Credits and four winners of £2 Account Upgrade Credits

For centuries archeologists have been trying to uncover the secrets of the lost world of Simeria without success. The Simerian Explorer first realised that Runes were the key to understanding its ancient language but this still wasn't enough. Several missing letters from this ancient language were found at the top of a newly discovered Simerian Temple, unknown to residents until Storm Maranormous cleared the forest that was hiding it from view. Can you rescue these missing Runes from the top of the temple?

To play Rune Rescue you must gently click and destroy each temple block under the Rune to bring it closer to the ground, where archeologists can reach it. Be careful - each temple block is a different shape and the game will end if the Rune falls off the side.

Earn 1MP per 2 points. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play. Rune Rescue can be played up to 3 times per day.

Baspinar's Castle was the first world in Marada to have electricity but they named it magic. The King still powers his castle using the same Windmill that first brought this magic energy to Marada. Legend has it that each blade of this windmill represents a different type of energy - Strength, Defence, Speed, Level, Health and of course, Magic.

The Windmill is powered by the wind and is totally dependent on the current weather in Marada. Visit on a normal day and you can stop it from spinning. If you land on one of the six magical blades, your pet will receive a stat. If you have the Pet Stats Giftbox in your collection, you can also select which pet will receive this stat before you play!

Visit when the weather in Marada changes and this Windmill gets very interesting...

You can play the Windmill for FREE once per day. Game resets at 00:00MST.

Another of our oldest features, One in a Million has been relaunched as Prize Drop in Lush Lake.

You can play this game for FREE once every 16 hours. All of the same prizes have been moved over to this game and new ones have been added - we've made it less frequent so that payouts can improve!

Whenever you play Prize Drop you choose which position you would like to drop the ball from. There are ten different balls and you will be given one at random each game. Each ball has a different weight, different speed and different prizes! For example, the Beach Ball is painfully slow to drop but has better prizes, the Bowling Ball is so heavy it drops so fast you could blink and miss it if it didn't smash all of the pieces on its way down! There is even a Bootleg Ball that stops and gives you a very creepy stare as it falls!



When the ball finishes its journey down to the bottom, you will win the prize at the bottom. The first prize (first from the left) is either a Millionaire Plushie or Enchanted Millionaire Plushie from the prize list. The second prize is a random Gym stat for one of your pets. The third prize is nothing, while the fourth prize position is a random, smaller amount of MP. The fifth prize slot is a random School or University stat. Land in the sixth prize slot (the one far right) and you'll win a higher prize of MP - which can reach as high as 1,000,000MP for some balls!

It's been a crazy six weeks since King Baspinar's Palladium Jubilee celebrations ended. Vortex Park has been thriving since its rebuild and the pirates of Dukka Caves have been busy with new, top secret construction projects.

No one has seen or heard from the King in over a month. He ended his celebrations in anger, launching his sword into the new Sword in the Stone and locking himself away in his castle. The residents of Marada are not sure what to make of it.

Why is the King on self-imposed lockdown? I'm sure we'll find out soon enough! In the meantime, have your umbrellas ready - rain is forecast for Marada this week...A new Royal Treasure Chest is on sale at the Account Upgrades Shop. It will automatically retire June 30th. You can open this item to receive 8 different, random new items, including new clothes, wigs, footwear, minipet, gourmet food, weapons and accessories. You will not receive duplicate items inside a single treasure chest.

Our second level based Game has been released. Pumpkin Patch has been added to Undying Woods and has 50 levels for you to complete. The Undying Woods Pumpkin Patch is busy all year round growing pumpkins in time for the annual Pumpkin Hunt. Ed, Ted, Fred, Dead, Wed, Dread, Unwed, Shred and Misread the patch scarecrows take turns protecting the pumpkins. It's time to clear these pumpkins for Halloween. Tap to shoot the scarecrow's head towards the Pumpkin Patch. The pumpkin in the scarecrow's hand is what will be next to shoot. Match three or more of the same Pumpkin to clear them.




Pumpkin Patch (just like Pearl Hurl) has Level Reward Prizes. These are one time prize rewards you will win as a bonus prize for each level. Whenever you earn the 'Feed your pet any Pumpkin' reward from completing a level, you can visit the Pumpkin Patch game page at any time to redeem this reward. You will be able to choose which pet and any Pumpkin from our past Pumpkin Hunt events from this Pumpkin List. You will not receive the item but your pet will eat it and it will be added to their Gourmet Food Collection. You will also earn any Hidden Avatars or other rewards that you would normally receive from eating the item.

A new game has been added to Candyland. After the Great Gingerbread Crisis of 2001, Candyland started to construct its houses with a newer, more flexible material - Gummy Bricks. Houses made with these bricks are just as delicious as Gingerbread Houses and they come in nine different shapes. You'll be given three of these different shaped bricks at once. Drag them into the grid and earn points whenever you clear a full column or row. The game will end when you have no free space in the grid to fit one of your Gummy Bricks.

Earn 3MP per point. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MP each play. Gummy Bricks can be played up to 3 times per day.

For a limited time only, the retired Party Treasure Chest from 2014 is back on sale at the Account Upgrades Shop.
It will automatically retire again May 18th.

The Arinya, Chibs, Daisy, Fasoro, Yuni and Zola have been updated to match the new style of Headless Costume.
