The Fasoro pet has been updated. He has had many failed changes over the years that we were never happy with and neither were most players. We've gone back to basics with the original Fasoro style. As the original Fasoro is 11 years old already, this new update is here to stay and will not be changed again. We will fix most of the oldest costumes for Fasoro and give them lots more costumes. We hope you like the changes!

A new feature has been released in Foxfire Forest. This feature is only avaliable to players who wake it up during the Pool Party. The event ends at midnight tonight and everything in Foxfire Forest will be avaliable for all players. Buried deep beneath Foxfire Forest is a series of mineral-filled natural caverns. The minerals here have incredible untapped magical power. If you have the right mining tools, you can try Mining one for yourself! Each mining tool has a different percentage that they'll be successful in digging up any minerals and each item has a different percentage that they will break when you go mining. Once you successfully mine a mineral you will have a time out before you can try again.

A new mission will be released soon in Foxfire Forest with the limited edition Astro and a new costume avaliable. Instead of releasing a new costume, we picked one of the oldest and least popular costumes Skinny Costume to update and use as a mission prize. We tried many new versions for skinny pets and eventually they became Pampered Pets.

All skinny pets, potions and photos have automatically converted over to pampered pets. The Astro, Huthiq and Gobble can now wear the Pampered Costume. The 'Skinny' Hidden Avatar will stay the same but will require a pampered pet instead to get it. We hope you like the changes!




Happy Teal Day to all of the Teal lovers out there! These new items are now restocking.

The Dukka Caves map has been updated. We hope you like the changes! Many features from Dukka Town have been moved here ready for our Pirate Event later in the year. It will all make sense once the new Dukka Town map is released.

The Space Fairy Costume was first released in January 2009 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. A new version of the Space Fairy Account Upgrade has been released, with 8 new space fairy themed items and either a Space Fairy coloured Snookle or Fasoro Enchanted Plushie. This set also includes a retired Space Fairy Costume, so this AU will retire earlier than normal, in 2 weeks, on July 31st.





The Ercuw, Fasoro, Feliz, Snookle and Zoosh have been updated and are now wearing the new version of the Space Fairy Costume.




The Astro can now wear the Space Fairy Costume.

A new shop has opened in Foxfire Forest. You will only be able to access it from the Pool Party Event - you'll need to wake him up first! The Mining Tools shop restocks 26 new items.

Mining Tools are both toys and tools to be used to mine for minerals in Foxfire Forest. Each item has a different percentage that they'll be successful in digging up any minerals and each item has a different percentage that they will break when you go mining. Pickaxes are one-use items with varying chances of digging up minerals. Megadrills are guarenteed to dig up a mineral each time but have varying chances of them breaking each time.

If you haven't found out already, we have a new world in Marada. For hundreds of years the Foxfire Forest lay still and dormant, hidden from the rest of Marada. Now, thanks to the summer rains, it has finally sprung back to life. The forest is filled with many magical creatures of all shapes and sizes. Some are friendly and eager to make friends after hundreds of years of slumber - others are just hungry and looking for a snack! Whatever you decide to do - be wary of the beast in the woods.. you never know where he might be lurking....

As you take part in the Pool Party Event you will unlock this new world. You will then slowly wake up new features in the world, starting with Wise Walee. At the end of the event, July 20th, everyone will gain access to this new world.



We have updated the Pet Colours so that every pet now says where it comes from. We have also removed the 'retired' pets label on all limited edition pets. In the past, we have made the mistake of retiring pets for good. This was guarenteed but with transformations, goals and all of the collections since then it makes no sense. Its confusing to 'retire' a pet that is avaliable in the Potions shop, Plushie Machines and Temple. Account Upgrade pets that were listed 'retired' are no longer retired. Instead they have a date they were last released and a date that they will be released next. The original plan of retiring certain LE pets forever was to make them rarer, but instead it made them less popular and they received less new pet colours. We hope you understand why this was changed and approve of the changes.

All the noise you rowdy party goers are making is reaching Foxfire Forest and waking up its residents! A kindhearted and incredibly clever Wise Walee lives in the heart of the Foxfire Forest. This lovely old lady loves to teach, and her heart is warmed by seeing pets trying to expand their knowledge. Once a day, she chooses a random colour and species of Marapets and pays for their school lessons.

A new game has just been released. Play Pancake Pile for 400MP every 1 hour. Crepe the Rusty will give you two pancakes to place anywhere along the left or right side of the pancake pile. Crepe will then reveal the middle column and where he placed the third pancake. If all three pancakes are in a row - horizontal or diagonal - you will win the gourmet Pancake. Pancake Pile has been added to the Candyland map and the Points to Play Games countdown page.

SITE MAINTENANCE
Marapets will be going offline for several hours sometime between tomorrow, July 9th and July 10th. During this time the site will be closed and for some of the time it may not appear online. The Satyr is a strong but surpisingly lazy fellow. He's grown bored with all the battle opponents and so he is looking for the strongest, most determined pets in all of Marada! The stronger your pet is, the greater he will reward them. You will receive prizes for each of your pet's strength stat levels - the higher you train, the more you are rewarded!





The Satyr has been added to the Gigantic Paradise world map and the Rewards page.

The Monthly Mission Contest did not reset as it was supposed to on July 1st. This has now been fixed for next month and has been reset today. Don't worry, we had a copy of the winners from midnight July 1st and the prizes have been awarded to the correct players. Thanks for your patience!

A new Monthly Mission Contest has just started. This month's mission is Blitzen's Grotto. The challenge is to complete as many levels of this Mission in a month. You will earn an extra point for each level you complete. Complete level 1 and receive 1 point, complete level 2 and receive 2 points and so on.
