It's almost Halloween and Marapets is the place to be for it! With just two weeks until Halloween a new face has come out to play in Undying Woods. The Vampire is over 5,000 years old. He's been feasting on the blood of Marapets since birth and is really healthy from it. He encourages you to increase your pets health stat - but not from blood, that is just for him! The higher your pet health stat is, the greater he will reward them.



The Vampire has been added to the Undying Woods world map and the Rewards page.

The Fire Costume was first released in September 2005 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. A new version of the Fire Account Upgrade has been released, with 8 new fire themed items and either a Fire coloured Snookle or Gonk Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire November 3rd.





The Crindol, Fasoro, Figaro and Snookle can now wear the Fire Costume. The Fire Gonk and Vixen has been revamped - we hope you like the changes!

The 2015 Undying Festival has started in Undying Woods and will end October 19th. As the Daisy pet is retired, the event has changed slightly. Complete many site challenges for a guranteed prize. Every 10 challenges you complete, you will find a letter. There are 41 letters to find. Once you have found them all, work out the phrase below and you'll get a retired limited edition Daisy pet and 750,000MP!






When you have found all 41 letters of Undying Festival, you will need to use them to solve the following sentence. If you do solve it, you will be able to change one of your pets into a Daisy and you will receive 750,000MP. The phrase consists of 8 words:

The next phase of the Dress Up Dolls work has been completed. The Male Character has been redrawn. It is very similar to the female doll now, allowing us to draw unisex clothing and accessories a lot easier in the future.

The main changes are:

Male Characters can now wear all of the female hair styles. Females can now wear the male hair styles that we are slowly adding to the Salon. The Salon will be re-coded when we have redrawn all hair styles.

Wigs will only show the female version for now. We will eventually update them so that the masculine versions are available too. Please be patient! They will be unisex soon so that you can have either the male or female version of every wig.

All Male Clothing & Footwear has been redrawn and is now unisex. Female characters can now wear all of the male clothing - you will see it in the new Unisex Clothing wardrobe category.

Male Costumes are currently disabled. We are still working on redrawing them to be unisex and fit the new doll.

We had to remove all Male Selfies so that the new system is moved over. We are really sorry about this.



All new clothing items in the future will be unisex. Once we have completed the transition to the new male doll, we will go back to fix all female clothing so that male dolls can wear them. We hope you like the changes!

The Drake a wise, old and experienced fighter. He's been training in the gym all day, everyday since birth and encourages other pets to join him. The higher your pet level is, the greater he will reward them.

We will not be having a birthday party event this year, as we have been very busy with the new Characters update. We are now two-thirds ready with phase 2 of the dress up dolls update!

Today is too special to have nothing new so here is the new Dukka Town map we finished just in time. We hope you like the changes!



You can now edit each of your Pet Profiles. It is similar to normal profiles, you can add a header, story page and a small image or text next to your pet. BBCodes work too!

The Poison Account Upgrades will retire at midnight.

There is a new BBCode - enter [DOLL] anywhere on the site that accepts codes and the image of your dressup doll will show up!

The first phase of our major Character upgrade has been completed. Our dolls are over 10 years old now and were created in flash. A lot has changed since then and flash is pretty much dead - even YouTube has stopped using it! For us this was a major issue, as flash doesn't load on mobiles or tablets. It has also got slower and more unstable for desktop users too. Characters have switched to PNG images in all parts of the site now and you should already noticed a huge difference in the speed of the site.

There are a few changes. Shops and galleries can no longer have a different experience than profiles. Animated clothing or experiences are static now. If you play Marapets on desktop, flash will still be used at the Lush Fountain and Wardrobe previews. The next phase is the revamp of the Male Doll. We have been busy redrawing and fixing all male clothes. Yesterday we completed 434 male clothes - officially half way done!



The Gonk and Equilor can now wear the Space Fairy Costume. The Equilor and Troit can now wear the Toddler Costume.



We completed a Server Update yesterday without any downtime. For those interested, we have installed Railgun - this cuts down on bandwidth, transfer time, and overall page load times. Railgun caches these differences in memory to make page processing as fast as possible. Marapets now runs even faster than before - we hope you noticed the changes!

The Agatha, Capone, Edwina, Nimble, Sneaky and Tokem can now wear the Ball of Moonlight Yarn.
