Our Maraween Character Trick or Treat has just started. It will end automatically on November 10th. To take part in Character Trick or Treat, all you need to do is dress your character up in an approved Halloween Character Costume. Then you can visit the profile of any player that is currently online, hit the Trick or Treat button and receive a prize every time! You can only Trick or Treat each person once per day and you will receive MP or an item. All of these item prizes will retire at the end of this event too!

Remember, there are retired Trick or Treat Costumes on sale at the Account Upgrade Shop until 1st November. You can also win the Vintage Halloween Snowman Costume or Halloween Snowman Costume from the Halloween Snowman. The Character Costumes that will work for this event are as follows:

Even more pets can celebrate Maraween now! The Sindi, Viotto, Wallop and Zola can now wear the Halloween Costume and the Addow, Azul and Rofling can now wear the Evil Clown Costume. The Evil Clown Account Upgrades Set automatically retires at midnight.

We successfully completed Server Maintenance this week without any downtime. The main PHP server nodes in our cluster have increased from 17 to 26. All have been upgraded and MaraPets is now running faster and more stable than ever. If you haven't noticed a difference, that's great too as visitors to the site have been twice as many as last month and we're running great. Thanks to all of our supporters who help to keep us open!

The Arinya, Gonk, Kaala, Mordo and Oglue can now wear the Gothic Costume. Remember, this costume is currently in Account Upgrades and will retire November 15th.

A new Maraween Pumpkin Hunt has just started for 2016. It will last until November 21st. As you browse and play the site as normal, check out every page for a Pumpkin in a box. When you find it, click it and you may get a prize! These prizes are listed below. You may also win a Pastel Costume! The 250 different players who collect the most pumpkins will receive 1,500,000MP and a limited edition Terrorantula Trading Card. The next 250 will just get a Terrorantula Trading Card.

This year, 10 random players who will collect 100 pumpkins or more will win £10, 15 will receive £5 and 20 players will receive £2 Account Upgrade Credits!

WARNING : Anyone caught adding fake pumpkins to their profile, signatures, clubs or anywhere else on the site will have their account frozen for the rest of Halloween and be fined for doing so.

Elger has taken the time off from doing quests during this holiday season. Instead, you can visit her with your pet dressed up for Halloween to go Trick or Treating for FREE once every 20 minutes - Poison Pets can visit once every 15 minutes!

All you need to take part is a pet wearing a Halloween, Poison, Mad Scientist, Nefarious, Bug, Skeleton, Ghost, Witch, Dark, Zombie, Wizard, Voodoo, Vampire, Goblin, Rotten, Midnight, Insideout, Gothic, Eleka, Killer, Headless, Mutant, Mummy, Werewolf, Nightmare, Monster or Devil costume. These prizes will retire when the Elger Trick or Treat ends November 7th.

Beelzebub has been added to Undying Woods. He has stolen all of the prizes, including hundreds of Account Upgrades Credit, from the Birthday events and closed down the Birthday Forum. From now until October 31st he will lurking around the site with Pot of Gold Giveaways, Forum Events and more! To make sure you keep up with him you can browse his topics or subscribe to his topics. These new prizes have been added for Beelzebub.

The Gym and Elite Gym have been updated with a countdown of all of your pets that are currently training.

These new items are now restocking at the Halloween Treats shop in Undying Woods.

A new Bug Account Upgrade has just been released. The main prize is a Restricted Pet Vlad. You will receive a bug themed cd, book, dvd, gumball, costume, stamp, minipet and either a Bug coloured Vlad or Jessup Enchanted Plushie.

TRICK OR TREAT EVENT
The final event of our Halloween Celebrations has just started! It will end on November 4th. To take part in Character Trick or Treat, all you need to do is dress your character up in a Halloween Character Costume. Then you can visit the profile of any player that is currently online, hit the Trick or Treat button and get a prize! You can only Trick or Treat each person once and you will receive MP or an item. All of these item prizes will retire at the end of this event too! If you are dressed up really well for halloween, you might even scare the other player so bad that their character has to walk around the site looking terrified!
