There seems to be a lot of confusion recently about changes to the Marapets Layout. Over the next couple of months, Marapets will be becoming more Mobile Friendly. Players on mobiles, tablets and desktops will all be able to play Marapets just as easy as each other. For the past 15 years, we've been 100% made for desktop computers. It has taken us many years to gradually change the site, so that it works well on mobile. Some of these changes are already here but many are not. When it is finished, hopefully by the end of the year, it will be clear why we have been making changes around the site. Until then, there may be the ocasional mis-aligned text, some text that is too big, some that is too small, random white space, etc. None of this should effect the way that Marapets can be played - the site will still work as it should, it just may not look it's best. If you find any parts of the site where the design makes it difficult to play, please report it on the Help Forums. In the mean time, please be patient with us - the end result will be worth it!

Basil can now wear the Baby Costume and the Minipet Astro has been updated to the newer design.

The Sewer Pipes in the City Sewers has been updated. All players that have completed the Sewer Pipes Treasure Map and have access to this feature can now use the new and improved Sewer Pipes. The MP payouts have been increased and you can now earn between 1 and 3 Gym or Elite Gym Stats. There are 16 new Sewers Plushies and 89 new gourmet Minipet Poop items that can only be won from here.

Another new prize is that your pet may receive between 15 and 59 minutes of Battle Immunity for your pet. This happens right away and will give your pet a defence shield that will deflect any attacks your pet will receive in the Battle Arena allowing you to win battles against even the hardest opponents!

A new Account Upgrades Promotion has started. The Whale Tales Book, Denim Vest and Seafood Platter prizes have been replaced with a Minipet Pumpkin Hat, Corny minipet and Skull Sweater. The Light Fairy Costume was first released in July 2008 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. We have updated the costume and a new version of the Light Fairy Account Upgrade has been released, with 8 new Light Fairy themed items. The Simerian Explorer Treasure Map was also released in Account Upgrades in July 2008 and not avaliable since. As a special limited time, you will receive 2 or 3 random pieces of this retired map. There is a 1 in 4 chance you will receive 3 pieces instead of 2 pieces. This AU will retire November 30th.





The Crindol, Decadal, Limax and Nino can now wear the Light Fairy Costume.

A new Account Upgrade for October will be released within the next couple of hours. This month's theme is Nefarious pets. The January Account Upgrade will be retiring. We will also be retiring the Sunglasses and Character Costumes from the limited edtion items. You have until October 1st to get them! This costume DOES count as a Halloween Costume and can be used to take part in the trick or treating event in October.
