Many, many years ago Ziranek was home to MaraUploads. This feature was discontinued but a 'Memory Upgrades' feature remained around as a useless dead feature for a long time. This feature was finally removed but there was an empty space in Ziranek and 'Memory Upgrades' has now been changed to a 'Memory Saved' shop. Although we do not actually need to save server space, the idea is that you earn 1 Memory Point for every item you delete at the 'Move Items' quickstock page at your Inventory. You can change the donate option to delete option.

This new Memory Shop will permanently give an extra use to any items that become junk items of little value by removing them from the site. You can't delete Dukka Coins and Fake Dukka Coins as these items are currency that have their own currency exchanges and have (or will have) their own shops.

A new Mission has been released in Lowlyhood. Everyone knows that celebrities are judged by the size of their wardrobe and are never seen wearing the same thing twice. Priscilla loves celebrities and desperately wants to be one herself and she thinks the best way to do that is through having a large Wardrobe so she spends all her days shopping for items to add to her wardrobe in her never ending quest for what she believes is celebrity status. Pricilla loves to be seen in the company of those who dress to impress so if you think you have what it takes to impress Pricilla she has just the mission for you.

Priscilla has 30 levels for you to complete. She will ask for any type of Wardrobe items and you will need to have them collected in your Wardrobe to complete each level. If you fail, you will return to level 1. Complete all 30 levels for a limited edition Eyru pet.

This new Candle Costume can be won from Priscilla. The Eyru, Gizmo, Grint, Jessup, Leido, Limax and Vixen can now wear this costume.

We would like to apologise for Marapets yesterday. While we are celebrating the fact that Marapets hit a decade, yesterday was our servers reminding us of the fact that some of them are 7 or 8 years old! Our load balancer, which has been really good to us for the past 6 years and 8 months, crashed and yesterday was doing whatever it wanted, whenever it wanted. Yesterday we just had to wait it out until the DNS records updated, which can take 24 hours or longer sometimes - anyone who cannot still load Marapets should restart their router, PC and flush their DNS. We've ordered a replacement that will be set up as soon as we get it. Anyway, here is the new Moonlight Troit!

NEW FEATURE
This ancient Temple has been opened for you to explore. Its very dangerous, so you can only send in one pet at a time and while the pet is inside the temple, you cannot trade or exchange the pet. Make sure you are prepared - the temple has many obstacles, 30 levels some say, but not many have made it all the way to the treasure deep inside! While inside the temple, your pet will notice many closed, locked doors which can only be opened by the hidden knowledge of Bug, Fish and Robot Minipets.

At each level of the Temple, you will get a prize. It can be either items, currency, pet stats or Account Upgrade Credit. There is no time limit for completing the Temple, but you can only complete one level every 12 hours. If you manage to reach level 30, you will be able to choose any Hidden Avatar you are missing and it will be added straight to your collection. We believe that this is a fair way for newer players to get hold of retired Avatars that are no longer avaliable to them.






The new Temple of Tableaus has been added to the Lost City of Simeria map.

The Ant Hill has just been released in Gigantic Paradise. It has long been known that ants live in huge colonies under the soils of Marada, with the biggest, deadliest ants living under Gigantic Paradise. They have lots of value of items stored inside that they hoard for themselves. If you are brave enough, you can try and steal some items from them. You can only try once a day.

NEW EVENT
Marapets reached 6 Years Old on August 15, 2010. Happy (belated) Birthday Marapets! We are now into our 7th year and want to make this year our best ever! We started by bringing back the Site Layout changing every hour so that you now know when it is night and day in Marada. We have also brought back Secret Blogs and the Monthly Checklist and will be fixing everything that needs fixing and bringing back features that are either not working or never finished. For example, we should soon have Gardens, more celebrity dress up games, trophies and Promote Marapets coming back. We also have huge aims for this year to further develop all of the world maps we already have, especially Lowlyhood and Kamilah Desert, and also release another 2 worlds! Marapets will also be going international with the more languages! There is so much planned for this year, so stick around, you won't be dissapointed!

To celebrate our 6th Birthday, there are new items being added around the site as prizes. These will all retire on September 1st. Good luck collecting them!

NEW FEATURE
The Simerian Sundial is where time was first invented. The Light Fairy realised that the light from the sun gave her all of her magical powers, and that she could tell what time of day it from the position of the sun in the sky. At midday, when the sun was at its highest, she had the strongest power. Ever since Ziranek was invented, everything went digital and Maradans forgot all about her and the Sundial she invented. She slipped into a depression and now takes out all of her anger by killing innocent pets. You can sacrifice your pet to the Light Fairy if you have a Mummy Doll that is the same species as your pet. She'll happily kill it and when shes done, she'll mummify your pet for you to stop it smelling so bad! When shes done, you'll have a Mummy Pet. It might just be a rumour, but if you are really, really, really lucky you may catch her in a good mood and she'll give you a Light Fairy Doll too...



The rest of the Mummy Pets have been released. There is a couple of pets missing and a few Mummy Dolls missing, but Laimay will get to those as soon as she can!

NEW WORLD
A new world has just been released! It hasn't been added to the Marada map yet, but it will be added in front of Lush Lake tomorrow (you can still click to go there now though!). Lowlyhood Boulevard is famous for its fashion, entertainment and celebrities. If you hadn't guessed already, the next couple of weeks we will be working on our Dress Up Doll Characters.
