All Reward features are now back. The new system means that you will get much less 'Alert Spam' where you're inbox has messages for days at a time for each prize. If you are waiting for more than 1 prize, these prizes are now all sent together with only one alert that lists all of the prizes you just received. There is also a new feature that allows you to Mute Alerts by category.

The Arcade Fairy was originally for our flash games but when they were retired, we changed this to the only other games we had on the site. Since then we've released lots of new HTML5 Arcade Games so the Arcade Fairy now rewards for playing these new games instead. If you have previously earned the Arcade Fairy prizes based on your flash games count, you will not win these prizes again. However, in the future when new prizes are added to the Arcade Fairy, you will not win the new prizes until have played the new HTML5 Arcade Games enough times. There is a new Game Fairy that rewards for each Level Game that you play.

There is also a new Invisible Fairy that rewards for each Experience that you have in your collection.

Congratulations to team Champion Chibs for winning the Super Hero Society event. All prizes have been awarded and the event shop is now closed. Champion Chibs ended in 1st Place with 30,764,197 points, Hypnotic Huthiqs in 2nd Place with 30,640,394 points, Justice Jessups in 3rd Place with 30,198,909 points and Super Snookles in 4th Place with 29,875,911 points.

A new Goblin Account Upgrade Set has been released, with 7 new goblin themed items, a retired Goblin Costume (last released October 2008!) and either a Goblin Enchanted Plushie or Goblin Potion. This set is on sale until September 7th.

You can choose if you would like the main prize to be an Enchanted Goblin Plushie or Potion. There is 1 in 3 chance you will receive a limited edition Lati instead of Addow, Equilor, Gonk, Jessup, Kidlet, Knutt, Leido, Newth, Reese, Renat, Xoi, Yakubi and Zetlian.

Griffin has just been released in Vortex Park. Griffin is an especially powerful and majestic creature. Griffin has the coordination to live and fly around Vortex Park even with the permanent hurricane weather conditions. The higher your pet Coordination is, the greater he will reward them.

Griffin has been added to the Vortex Park world map and the Rewards page.

The first phase of our major Character upgrade has been completed. Our dolls are over 10 years old now and were created in flash. A lot has changed since then and flash is pretty much dead - even YouTube has stopped using it! For us this was a major issue, as flash doesn't load on mobiles or tablets. It has also got slower and more unstable for desktop users too. Characters have switched to PNG images in all parts of the site now and you should already noticed a huge difference in the speed of the site.

There are a few changes. Shops and galleries can no longer have a different experience than profiles. Animated clothing or experiences are static now. If you play Marapets on desktop, flash will still be used at the Lush Fountain and Wardrobe previews. The next phase is the revamp of the Male Doll. We have been busy redrawing and fixing all male clothes. Yesterday we completed 434 male clothes - officially half way done!

The Gonk and Equilor can now wear the Space Fairy Costume. The Equilor and Troit can now wear the Toddler Costume.

We completed a Server Update yesterday without any downtime. For those interested, we have installed Railgun - this cuts down on bandwidth, transfer time, and overall page load times. Railgun caches these differences in memory to make page processing as fast as possible. Marapets now runs even faster than before - we hope you noticed the changes!

The Agatha, Capone, Edwina, Nimble, Sneaky and Tokem can now wear the Ball of Moonlight Yarn.

To start off the 3rd Birthday celebrations, we have just re-released Marasites! They have been down for work for almost all of the 2nd year of Marapets but we finally have them back, and they'll be staying up for good now. You can find them at the very top of this site, and at the Ziranek map. Every player gets their own free Marasite, which is your own free website to do whatever you want with! Right now its still basic, as we'll be adding tons more features to it over the coming weeks. Time to start updating!
