A new Punk Account Upgrade Set has been released, with 7 new Punk themed items, a Punk Costume (retired since April 2008) and either a Punk Enchanted Plushie or Punk Potion. This set is on sale until July 31st.
You can choose if you would like the main prize to be an Enchanted Punk Plushie or Potion. There is 1 in 3 chance you will receive a limited edition Limax instead of Kaala, Knutt or Tantua.
All of the other pets that can wear the Punk Costume have been updated.
Our new summer event started midnight June 1st. All players are invited to join our Scouts Camp. Scout leaders have put you into either Team Acorn or Team Maple Leaf and will start giving you challenges to complete right away. There are over 30 different types of challenges you could be asked to complete - including quests, missions, restocking and battling! You will earn a point for your team after you complete each challenge and you may also win an MP or item prize. All prizes retire at the end of the event.
There are 30 different scout badges for you to collect - one for each day in June. Complete 20 or more challenges each day and you will receive the badge. Earn all 30 badges for a Gold Trophy on your profile, 20 for silver and 10 for bronze. The more badges you earn, the more prizes that will unlock for you to win. This means that a small amount of the item prizes can only be won from players who earn 20 or more badges!
At the end of the event, the winning team will receive extra bonus prizes - so keep earning points for your team! There will also be prizes for the top 100 players who earn the most points and Scout leaders will also randomly give Account Upgrade Credits to 10 random team players who receive a badge each day.
The Events Forum has re-opened with 2 new forums inside - one for each team. You can only post on the forum of your team. Please keep all Scout event topics in here from now.
We have added a team leader board at the top of the news page. This will be updated at midnight each day with the progress so far and winners of the Account Upgrade Credits chosen at random by the scout leaders.
A new feature has been released in Gigantic Paradise. Fee-fi-fo-fum! Did you just hear that? Rumour has it a giant Grint named Pinkie lives high above the skies of Gigantic Paradise. Plant a Magic Bean here in the fertile soils and with patience, a giant Beanstalk may grow. Every beanstalk is different in length. You can climb it, level by level, by completing random mission levels. Once you reach the top, Pinkie will allow you to buy only one item from his shop for MP before he destroys the beanstalk.
The Beanstalk has been added to the Gigantic Paradise map and the Missions page.

The Daisy, Poera and Walee can now wear the Poison Costume.
The Puchalla Village map has been revamped. We hope you like the changes! We have also updated the way that these new maps are labelled. The Marada and Puchalla Village maps now highlight each area and have both a label and a description when you hover your mouse over each location. This will soon be standard over each world map.
The Forums layout has been updated and the size limit for signatures is now 720 width by 350 height. You can also once again use BBCodes on forums and blogs.

NEW LAYOUT
June is here and we've started the summer with a brand new look for the site. One of the biggest problems of the site was that we had so much content and it wasn't organised well enough. It has taken a while but we have reorganised the whole site, with 'Also Try...' for similar content and more consistent, organised colours for sections of the site. We also realised that the layout lacked character and colour. We have redesigned it to be much nicer for the variety of users we have on the site. You are currently seeing the 'Day' theme of the site. By the end of the week, at night time MST, you will see the 'Night' theme. Also they are both summer versions. For the autumn, the leaves will fall and in winter, it will be frozen. As the year changes on Marapets, so will the layout. Even if you are not a fan of the changes, as we realise how some people do not like major change, we have tried not to move or reorder buttons unless we really had to! Please also note that it has taken a very long time to get it like this but it is not completed. We still need to add a text link of how many maramails you currently have, changes to random events and notifications and fixing the problems some browsers are experiencing. The layout has been optimised to work best with Mozilla Firefox. If you would to change browsers, here is how you can:
We are a little behind schedule with the Account Upgrades. We'll try and get them released by Monday. The January upgrades will retire when June's are released so its your last chance to get them!
