New Cyber items have been added to shops and follow the glitch restock pattern

As they are glitched, they can appear on sale at any time. Their prices and stock level also change with the online count. For example, if there are 500 online and it restocks, it will cost 5,000MP (online count x 10) and 250 (half the online count) will be on sale. You can only buy one of these items every 10 minutes

There is a new Easter Time Machine promotion

Use the Time Machine between now and April 20th and you can choose between the current prize list (that changes automatically every Saturday) or a special Easter Prize List. Select the Easter Prize List to win one of 128 retired easter or spring themed items

A new game has been released in Simeria. You can play the classic game of Backgammon against Serpent the Simerian Tantua once per day for FREE. Game resets at 00:00MST.

If you win the game of Backgammon, you will win

15,000MP and two entries to the daily raffle. If you lose or draw, you'll still win

2,500MP and one entry to the raffle.

The daily raffle will select three random winners who have entered by playing Backgammon to win a random Fertiliser item.

Backgammon is one of the oldest board games in the world, first played in Simeria over 5,000 years ago. The goal is to be the first player to move all of your pieces off of the board. It's an exciting game of tactics, probabilities and chance. Not sure how to play Backgammon? You can follow this Tutorial.

We have a lot of news and updates to keep up with but we hope you all read our Latest Update about our plans for the next couple of months. We're working really hard to release over a year's worth of planned new content, updates, games, features and rewards in April and May to keep you all entertained (and distracted) from what's going on in the world right now. By releasing content MUCH quicker than usual, it's had a little less testing than usual on all of the possible browsers, devices, operating systems, etc that you all play. We strive to make all new and existing content on Marapets work for EVERYONE equally but please be patient and help us do this by reporting any issues and bugs on any new and recent content at the Help Forums. Before creating a new topic, please check if one already exists and add more information to this. If you can, please provide screenshots of errors you experience - the more info we get, the quicker we can make things work for all!

A new Noble Treasure Chest is on sale at the Account Upgrades Shop. It will automatically retire June 16th. You can open this item to receive 8 different, random new items, including new clothes, wigs, contact lenses, hats, minipet, gourmet food and accessories. You will not receive duplicate items inside a single treasure chest.

The Easter Bunny is back in Marada! Decorate your profile and dress up your character for the celebrations, in pinks and golds and purples. The Easter Bunny will be visiting profiles and you may get rewarded for those who impress her. The Easter Bunny is not like Beelzebub, she is shy and easily scared away! Be nice and she will be running contests, games and giveaways on the Forums - 10 lucky winners will receive a retired Splatter Costume while others will win retired Easter Eggs and other great items! Naughty players will scare her away or receive only Carrots.

You do not have to have an easter/spring costume, you can dress up your doll in pinks, golds and purples, brown for a chocolate look or green colours a spring look.

If you are a younger player and you do not have access to Forums you can still take part. The Easter Bunny will visit profiles selected randomly from the Online list so make sure you are ready in case she drops by!

The Arinya and Vlad can now wear the Splatter Costume.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be starting later this week. Don't miss out!

NEW FEATURE
We have just released a new Goals Game. At every level you have a new goal to complete related to Jenoa. Each level gets harder to complete but you will receive a prize for completing each level. Unlike quest and mission games, you have unlimited amount of time to complete each goal level and you can only complete them once. New levels will always be added to the Goals in each world. Prizes include rare items only avaliable from goals, MP, BP, RP, Dukka Coins, Account Upgrade Credit and stats for your pets. The Jenoa Goals is the fourth world to have goals and currently has 12 levels for you to complete. New levels will be added in the news to these goals all of the time, each with a brand new prize.

The Jenoa Goals have been added to the Jenoa map.

When you complete a level of the Jenoa Goals, you will receive a cool shield on your profile, showing everyone what level you have completed in the goals!

We would like to apologise for the Server Errors for the last couple of days. They were unexpected and took a long time to fix, as there wasn't actually anything wrong with the site coding, all servers were up and all databases were fine. We finally found the problem today and had to reformat, reinstall and move all of our database servers. Our network cards were installed after the installation of our new server setup and it took this long for all of the errors to show up. Its fixed now and the site is back to normal again!

We are almost complete with our quick Maintenance work on some of the busiest sections of the site. User Shops have finally been fixed so they can only allow the correct numbers of items in them - you will need to upgrade your shop size to hold more items. Your shop items have been moved to your Attic, but you can now easily and quickly move and price the items in your shop. Galleries will be back in a few hours, along with the Forums and News Commenting.
