Instead of the annual Valentine's Day Hunt, all of the Quest characters will be spreading the love until February 28th. You may randomly receive one of these FREE gifts when you complete any quest as a bonus prize along with your usual quest reward! As the Candy Tree is not currently performing quests you cannot win these from there.

We have exciting news to tell you officially about the Town Hall! We understand that Marapets is very old and many pets might be on 'very inactive' or 'permanently banned' accounts. If there is a pet name you want and you have the Certificate item in your Inventory ready to name a pet, you can send a Support Ticket to us. You must have the item in your Inventory, tell us the pet you want to rename and the pet name you would like. We will do everything we can to see if this pet name is avaliable. If we can make the change for you we will. If not, we will let you know and you can try another name. If you have several names you would be happy with, please let us know in order of preference. Please note that the use of a Pet Certificate is only for names that are avaliable at time of purchase from the Town Hall. Contacting us for pet names already taken is subject to a long list of conditions that only our staff are aware of and this service could be withdrawn at any time.

We released this in trial earlier this week on the forums and the demand was overwhelming. Our goal here is to help as many of our players as possible find the 'dream name' for their pet. Instead we received multiple lists from certain players who wanted to get in there quick for a list of names, only to resell, trade or hoard these names for later. While this is not against the rules, this is not the reason we are spending our time investigating if we can change names for you. Due to this current high demand, we can only provide this service one pet each month per player. At the moment this means that if we changed a name for you in the last 30 days, we will not process another until this time is up. We hope to very soon decrease this limit to two weeks but until then please understand why there is a limit. We want to HELP as many players as possible and not to "sell" as many certificates as we can.

There are 8 pets that can now wear the Floral Costume.

Our second event has just started. The loving Candy Tree has so much Candy and Chocolate that he gives Valentines Day treats to any pink, valentines, pixie, love, cotton candy or princess coloured pets. If you have one of these pets, you can visit the Candy Tree once every 15 Minutes, until the event ends on Monday, and he will be your pet's Valentine. With every visit he will shower your pet in gifts!

WEBSITES & UPLOADS
After a long few months without Uploads and MaraSites, we decided to bring them back. We had sadly decided to discontinue these free services we provided for everyone, because of the cost and extra workload managing them was for us, especially at a time when the rest of the Marapets had an exceptional workload all year, to upgrade and fix the whole site and network. Now that the Marapets site is finally managable, we have decided to bring back these services. MaraSites is now back and running better than it has ever done before. Uploads now has a new website, https://uploads.marapets.com but will still be unreliable and glitchy like it has been before. It is scheduled to have a big upgrade in a few months to fix these problems.

The new February Account Upgrades have been released! There are 2 different themes - Valentine and Cowboy! We know that there has been a lot of Account Upgrade stuff released recently, but we've got a lot of catching up to do. But don't panic, this Account Upgrade set will not be retiring next month, only the older Account Upgrade packages and Limited Edition items on sale! Thanks for supporting Marapets.
