The first one opens today at 12:00 site time. For one hour at a time, the Restaurant serves a three course meal from one cuisine, chosen at random. The first cuisine on the menu is Japanese, as it was the winner of our First News Poll! Pick a Bronze, Silver or Gold menu, pay with the Dukka Coin it shows and your starter is served straight away!
Earn your main course and dessert
Every menu shows exactly what you need to do. The main course is earned by adding new Plates, feeding your pets new Gourmet Foods or cooking new Recipes. The dessert is earned by completing quests where your menu says, or by feeding at the Aquarium or Knutt House. Each course is served to you the moment you finish it, and your order keeps going even after the Set Menu closes.
Every player gets their own menus, and they only ask for Plates, Gourmet Foods and Recipes you are still missing. Gold menus cost the most but ask the least of you. Bronze menus are the cheapest but ask the most. With the Dukka Balance Giftbox you can pay from your Dukka Coin balance instead!
Finish your order and you can order another menu 20 minutes after your last one, while the Set Menu is still open. For the first 24 hours, a Set Menu opens every 3 hours, so there is one at a good time wherever you live! Then it opens every 6 hours for a day, then every 12 hours for a day. After that, it comes back once a week. When it is closed, the Restaurant shows a countdown to the next one. The Restaurant Shop is closed while a Set Menu is open.
@Talos13 it gives everyone 3 different random menus, each priced differently. the cheaper ones are harder to do (in theory) but you pick and buy the one you want to do.
Pay the dukka and get the starter item it shows. Then to get the main and desert you have to do the challenges it asked for before the time is up. If you do it quickly, you can play again in 20 mins (if it's still within the hour)

I'm just super confused what this means. So does the set menu open every 3 hours for today only? This week? how long? Or is this a recurring thing where EVERY time there's a new set menu, it'll be every 3 hours for one day, then 6 hours for one day and 12 hours for one day? or does the set menu cuisine change every time it's open?
@Cain I wrote the news when it was originally going out at midnight but needed more time. The first 24 hours it is set for every 3 hours, then 6 hours for 24 hours, etc
This is the schedule because it's new and then it settles to a base of one hour a week. Can't really say much more without ruining the future plans :stuck_out_tongue:
