basically whenever the pet day news is announced, visit the Capsule Machine and use it like normal but instead of just getting the prize automatically, it gives you 2 options... whatever prize you'd normally win and a random item from the Murfin day list (which is only Murfin Pop-Up Book right now)

you then pick which one by pressing the button underneath

if you don't make the choice for whatever reason, when the pet day ends it'll automatically pick the pet day item for you
