As far as the actual pixel art goes these could've been a bit more refined. I do love the references and the concept, I just know that you can do more with pixels than this. Not complaining too much though, this is a good effort! :like:

these should be way smaller! I like pixel art, but for a picture this big the illustration should much more detailed. The way it is now, it just looks off and, dare i say, quite bad for a costume art :/ :dislike:

I actually really like this. Nice job artists and great idea.
