Of course! I HATE to hurt people or make them uncomfortable.
Hearing people say that the Hump looks like a jab at bi/trans people is a huge kick to the gut, considering I'm bi and have experienced body dysphoria my whole life!

3rd time i've viewed this news post, completely overlooked the humps the first 2x and wouldn't have known there were revamps if i didn't read it in forums :P Unfortunately, i feel like that says a lot...

I wish this was left at the right 4 :'( Again no dig at the art, it's fantastic but there's so much potential to do something creative with the angel/eleka/blitzen/devil cossies if artists could just be given enough time/money to do so

@Nalkaria I appreciate your concern as well!! I didn’t mean for my comment to sound rude so I apologize if it did. I can’t quite think of a color combo that might work but I do think they’re a little close to that in particular which is why I commented on it!

Is it just me or hasn't there been uniquely drawn pet art since the Safari update and the Bug update ?

Did you guys lose a pet site artist or something ?

The blue on the angel is a little too much, seems very close to the blue on baby cosies, Maybe a more subble blue or cream colour might be better?
as for the hump maybe the green where the white is might stick with the cossie but break up the colours some people are wanting to avoid

Lizzy is the head artist that does the unique poses. I was the artist before her and I DID do unique poses, but the site style totally changed and only now am I getting back into the groove of things and learning to catch up.

Doing these Humps took me three days! I do everything by mouse because pens and tablets hurt like heck to use. Just doing simple tweaks like wings and tails took an embarrassing amount of time. I wish I was faster, but it's the way it is. I think having dysgraphia might make me technically disabled, so... yeah. Hard. Hurts. Still wanna do it though.

I don't really feel one way or the other about base pet recolors. But there have been MANY batches of them, so I can understand the lack of enthusiasm. So for someone to point that out isn't really surprising. Not as much as the logout link reply :huh:

Thanks for answering! I apologize if my comment came off as rude, I was not intending it to be.

I was genuinely curious about whether or not if an artist left, because I was told that an artist who wasn't a pet artist worked on the cowboy pets, and that they felt uncomfortable working on the cowboy "revamp" since it was out of their comfort zone. ( Keep in mind that my words are paraphrased. )

Either way, I think you did a great job on these pets, despite your disability. Even with the Eleka, Angelic, and Demonic pets, those small edits blend in pretty well.

And done with a mouse too? Jesus, that takes a lot of patience.

I know it's not the artist's fault for doing everything in basic poses -- especially for a restricted pet like the Hump.
