I honestly believe they put the version of Chibs out that they liked on April Fools Day, so it would look like an April Fools Joke, and then everyone would tell them what they didn't like, then they could alter it to what the people want, then post it the day after and claim it was an April Fools Joke. But that's just what I think. I do think this Chibs looks very nice, though I honestly did like the one they put out yesterday!

For me, I usually prefer the older drawings as they just look more authentic than the newer style "cartoony or cute" drawing, but that's just my opinion.

Hm, I feel bad for the artist. A lot of personality was lost here just to make up for the whiny folks who cried about how the cat that was meant to be the stray cat wasn't pretty enough. It's a shame. These do look good, but it's sad that this was the result of immaturity from the fanbase. Especially upsetting since most of these people who whined probably wouldn't even have a base costume, thus wouldn't even need to see these.

I apologize wholeheartedly to the artist who had to deal with the harassment and their art being called a joke.

Thanks God it was April Fools Day yesterday. I thought I was going to have a heart attack with the new chibs., lol great improvement from the original. I am a chibs lover and I used to have 28 of them. And seeing this change is a bit nostalgic but at the same time relieved that they didn't ruined the specie. Thank you Mara artists and Ian! <3
