Not every pet is going to be cute and cuddly, we DO need pets that are fierce and rough too. The Chibs looks great, and as long as the Baby Chibs stays a grumpy baby (can be re-drawn obviously) but stays as a grumpy baby I'm happy :P

Also, just to point out (Ian mentioned this too in MT) Most people who say it's their 'favorite' pet, have 0. It cannot possibly be your favorite pet if you don't own a single one, if it was your favorite pet, you would do what you could to obtain one, so you could have your favorite pet, not just stare and drool over others >.>

Yeah, but it doesn't even match the other revamps, not even slightly. I have 5 chibs, and would have 3 more if a trade I wanted worked out. So yes it is my fav pet. It is understandable that we would be upset.

But it's not horrible tbh i kinda like the "stray cat" look of them

You guys DO know, that no matter what, it was getting updated, right? It was never going to keep its old look.

But again, why change it so drastically if it was one of the favorite pets?

And Eat, that's appalling logic. You're not taking into account how much chibs makers cost, and that a lot of people don't buy AU to suddenly have millions of MP.

Chibs may very well be a person's favourite pet, but they might not have the means to get one. I don't own some of my favourite chibs colours, and I have some chibs makers in my attic, waiting to use for once I'm done portalling certain pets to give them stat boosts.

It just seems counter-intuitive to change a pet that was already loved for it's cuteness.

Ian hated it. Thought it was absolutely hideous, so he wanted it changed.

Well now it really is hideous lol

but a few chibs have already had a revamp and everyone was fine with those if not loved those. so it's not a matter of being updated, it's simply people disliking the style of these ones.
