Again, they are all nice, but a few don't look so much "calico", as like a deer or bat. The colors are nice, I like them, they just don't look "calico" to me. :blush:
Well, Calico/Parti-Color means 3 distinct color splotches and the gradiance may seem like 5/6 colors. The colors and splotches on newborn cats/dogs(animals), can be anywhere on their coat .. nothing is set in stone. You can have a litter of Calico kittens that will all look different because of color placement and depth of color. It makes them unique and adorable. All of these guys look terrific. Each breed is distinctly different in their markings. Love it.
Our adorable Viotto has the fawn markings as well as the parti color/calico splotches... I think it is really great. His genes are gorgeous getting markings from both parents (thank you artist). *applause*
