Not what I expected for a revamp of this one.

The split in the ear was always a nice touch for this pet, which is now missing. The tail width kind of bugs me as well. It doesn't seem to taper much, as it reaches the tip.
I don't know. i think I just liked the ruggedness of the original. Rats are cute, but they aren't mouse cute. They have a different aura to them.

I did rather liked the shrew-like style of the Scout Basil personally. But not feeling this revamp. Sorry.

I thought the Scout Basil was an Oppossum?

in any case; I like this a lot. Another pet that needed it, I think. And kept the pose pretty much the same, too.

I guess it could still use the torn ear, though. Though, to be honest, I never really remembered it had a torn ear because I never paid much attention to the Basil, despite liking them. They were just never a pet that were within my reach, in terms of mp. :blush:

I just want to say, from the head down, I think this revamp is really great. The paws and body shape look really good, though like Gennie said, the tail could be a bit more tapered and I would most likely prefer that. I do think it's fine as it is now though!

The head though...I mean I was never a fan of the basic basil before anyway, but it just looks so dang doofy. Even more than before. I think part of it is just how wide the muzzle is? I wish I could give more constructive criticism but I'm honestly having trouble putting it into words.

ARt is great but this one is my least favorite.
Like others have said, I'm not a huge fan of the trail or missing ear scar.
