Another pet ruined! Gave it the same awful look that the new fasoro has. If my costumed one gets that revamp i guess it will be yet another pet i get rid of. Getting tired of all my pets being ruined.

The more I look at it, the cuter it gets!

I don't know what kind of animal the original dakota was modeled after, but this new one looks like Tails from from Sonic the Hedgehog.

The quality of art is nice, but the neck and legs are way too thin attached to a huge head and paws. Looks like a chibi or a fun house mirror pet...:huh:

It is growing on me, i like the expression and positioning; all i could see at first was that neck but the art is lovely. Not sure why so many revamps are ending up so cartoony though with everything drawn in extremes, overly skinny parts matched with overly huge ones - realistic proportions are so much nicer! :love:

the old one was bad but i can't say this is much of an improvement, it looks like an anime animal gone wrong, with all its skinny limbs and big head

OMG... I don't believe the criticism!!!! Honestly, these artists are working their behinds off for us, and we are so critical. Can you do any better? Art is personal. It may be liked by one and not another person. And fortunately, it is not the same for everyone. I think the art for the Dakota is gorgeous. I like it. Sometimes I don't like some of the costumes, but I recognize that not everyone does. We all have our own likes and dislikes. I don't want to make our artists feel bad by tearing their work apart. It is good. They did a great job and I am so happy they are here to make our play great. We could go back to the days when we got nothing, How quickly we forget. I really think this is a nice update. Now I recognize it is not for everyone, but to tear it apart, that is another issue. You either like it or don't. And certainly have a right to do that. I am very thankful for our artists. They sure do a great job to make our holidays and time on Mara great. I don't always like what they turn up, but so what. They sure do work hard and try to please us.
