Love new minis and new yarn...but isn't white a basic color?

Speaking of yarn, though, why are higher rarity yarns easier to get from farming than the basic colors are? 1500 farming quests and I got 5 radioactive, 4 each of negative and native and even got 2 digital, but only one blue and not a single green or grey. Probably not the place to be asking this but hey...since I was here...
