June 7th is National Donut Day in the U.S. In honor of this awesome treat, here is a cryptogram for you to solve. Maramail me the answer after you have solved the puzzle. Since this one requires a little effort, everyone who enters will win 20,000 club points. All entrants will be entered into a lottery for the grand prize. The grand prize will be awarded using a random name generator.

Grand Prize: Donut Pinata + 75,000 Club Points

A cryptogram is a puzzle with an encrypted message, where each letter in the message has been substituted by another letter of the alphabet. As you guess each substitution, add the letter everywhere it occurs in the puzzle, and the message will start to reveal itself.

Hints for solving
* The most frequent letters in the English language are E, T, A, O, N, I, S.
* Short words are often easier to identify and solve first.
* As you decipher more letters and words, use the known letters and word patterns to deduce the meaning of the rest of the message.
*Sometimes, the code is more straightforward than you think, so don't hesitate to try common letter substitutions.

May is a fairly quiet month in Mara's calendar. I only see Lost Sock Awareness Day and Battle Booster. ATM EVENT - SHUSAN QUEST CHALLENGE
In honor of Lost Sock Awareness Day, I am hosting a Shusan Quest Challenge.

The challenge starts Saturday, May 9, 2026 on Lost Sock Awareness Day and will run until the end of Saturday, May 16th.

Everyone who enters will win 10,000 club points. Winners will be awarded points in addition to the entry award. So for example if you come in 3rd place you win 50K + 10K = 60K

FIRST PLACE: 125,000 Club Points
SECOND PLACE: 100,000 Club Points
THIRD PLACE: 75,000 Club Points
FOURTH PLACE: 50,000 Club Points
FIFTH PLACE: 25,000 Club Points
SIXTH PLACE: 10,000 Club Points

Prizes will be award to the person who does the most quests in the allotted time. In the event of a tie, the winners will be assigned a number and a random number generator will decide winners.

Today is May 9th, which everybody knows is National Lost Sock Awareness Day. This is Shusan's Day where the whole world joins her in celebrating having matching pairs of socks!

AUCTIONS RULES REMINDER
1. No sniping at the last second if you don't already have a history of bidding on the particular item.

2. No drastic upbids. (No more than 10,000MP upbids.)The club Auction items are priced low to be advantageous to all our members.

3. There is a temporary limit of only bidding on 10 Active Auctions. We are looking for increased Club Auction activity from other members. (This means you should only bid for 10 at a time, but once your auctions are over, you can bid on more. You can have 10 active ones at any time.)

We are aware that all mp functions in the club are not working, so Poppi changed the club shop to club points and we have started raffles with club points as well.

EVENTS
Starting Thursday May 1st and ending the 8th, I have another logic puzzle. Each club member who enters will be awarded 5000 club points to use towards the club shop or club raffles. All entrants who correctly answer will be entered into a lottery for the grand prize of 50,000 club points. The grand prize will be awarded using a random name generator. Gummgumm graciously made us another set of logic squares to help with solving the puzzle. If you've never solved one before, I linked a youtube video to help you out.

This is similar to the one we did at Valentine's. Find a Marapets item for each category and then Maramail me your completed list. Everyone who enters will win 10,000 club points. Starting soon, Poppi will also be running "Heads or Tails" in club chat. When she posts "heads or tails" the 1st person to reply with an answer, she will google flip a coin. If you guess right you will be rewarded with club points. More info to come in club chat.
