still writing

this work of mine
has taken so long
and the truth beholden REFRAIN
I am still writing this song

the notes keep on flowing
the song will not stop
I have heard it so many times
my ears might just pop
REFRAIN
back to reality
back to my life
back to the lonleyness
back to the strife
REFRAIN
no one seems to get it
no one seems to care
no one ever notices
will or will not fare
REFRAIN
this song means so much
like a flashing knife
this never written song
is the song of my life
