July 8-Profile Picture Change
Today, Metallica changed their YouTube picture from a photo of the band on a gray background to a blurred one of the band on a red background resembling pictures from the 72 Seasons music video photoshoots. Similarly, earlier in mid-June, Metallica changed their profile pictures on most of their socials from the striking yellow of the 72 Seasons theme to a sleek gray, sparking intense fan discussion and speculation about the implications of the change. Metallica responded with, ???It???s nothing, folks. Just a little refresh of the socials.??? But some fans still argue about the potential deeper meaning behind the change, speculating about a new album or release. Could these events simply signify the end of the M72 tour and era, or could they be teasing something new to come?
