Beyond Thunderdome

Just to ward off what could be massive amounts of email on the subject of my pets' names, here's the rundown them:

Yes, they are all names related to "Mad Max". Some may not be as familiar as others so the who's who goes something like this:

Max_Rockatansky: "Mad" Max, obviously.

Jes_Rockatansky: In the 1st movie, Jessie is Max's wife. I couldn't fit Jessie_Rockatansky in, so she had to settle for Jes.

Sprog_R: 1st movie referernce- Max and Jessie's son. Yeah, Rockatansky wouldn't fit either, so he just got the initial. Oh and uh, Sprog didn't start out looking like that! lol

Jim_Goose: 1st movie again. Max's best friend and fellow MFP officer.

ToeCutter: 1st movie main bad guy; the one responsible for Jim, Jessie, and Sprog's untimely demise. Originally, I had him named NightRider because Night Rider had the, IMHO, best line of the film "...I am the rocker, I am the roller, I am the out-of-controller!" Anyway, the name was taken so I changed the spelling and got KnightRider. Sort changed the whole meaning of the name and I'm not a fan at all of the Hoff, so ToeCutter was a good second choice.

SavannahNix and Scrooloose: Two of the kids from Crack in the Earth (movie 3). Savannah was the leader of the group and the one who insisted on "telling the Tell" no matter that no one wanted to hear it... again. And Scrooloose, well... he was the one with a few uh, screws loose- the kids with the funny face paint. lol

PigKiller: An inmate in the Underworld of Bartertown sentence to life working amoung the pigs for stealing one to feed his family, hence the name "pig killer". Became of Max's allies.

And last is Bridget11 who has nothing to do with any of the movies, I just adopted her and that was the name she came with.

My shop is BarterTown, again 3rd movie refernce. Oddly enough, other than Max I have no pets named for Road Warrior characters even though that's my favorite of the trilogy. Go figure.
