halloween 2013

It is in the Blood,
dark evil night,
with shimmering moonlight,
and the sounds of bats

High pit tones above in the dark,
while the moon helps vague figures,
moving in shadows,
as light as a slight touch.

the prickling sensation of fear
creeping up your spine,
alertness in what you hear,
and feel, sense, and smell,

who or what is coming near?
there is something out there,
but you feel blind,
at what is around you,
but you know......
certainly you know......
