Just reading the number of posts on my thread, I can see you were very dedicated to getting Melodies. I have an autistic cousin named Melody, so the name did have sentimental value, and I'm glad you'll appreciate it. Your art is lovely, have more self confidence. =) You worked hard, and congratulations.

Hello there JY, my name is Candy
(: I've been a proud Maradan for 6 years now and a proud New Zealander in real life. I guess I'll be in your situation soon too as I'll be starting university next March, but I don't think I can ever bring myself to quit as I've grown up with this site >.< I admire your determination (:

So I am here to apply for your precious pet, Bogdany. Simerian Zoinks are quite rare to come by, although I had always planned on geting one sooner or later. Their haughty facials are just too cute! You'll probably think I'm tragic and lame but I take Classical Studies at school and I'm absolutely in love with that subject. Seriously, I read my textbook out of class for fun

Simerian pets are the closest I can get to an ancient Greek looking pet and Bogdany will forever remain on my profile as a trophy of my interests. Actually a few of my pets have names that are classically inspired. I've got Lyre, which is the instrument that kind of looks like a mini harp and is associated with the god Apollo. I've got Pelides, which is another name for the hero, Achilles. And I've got Obol, which is the currency that they used in Ancient Athens. If I win Bogdany I might change his name to match his costume a bit better. I hope you don't mind!

Normally I would write a story for these apps but I've just finished a whole week of exams, with my classics exam being the last one that I did. My brain is dead and all I can do is recite my essays and I don't think you'd want to read 2000 words on Socrates' view on death xD But I love to draw.

I hope I haven't freaked you out with my weird obsession with ancient Greeks, but at least you know that Bogdany would mean something special to me. I'm tragic, yes, but it'd make me so happy :3

I would love to have Artelle because I am trying to help my friend Chip (http://www.marapets.com/profile.php?id=4863156) build up her Troit army! I have already given her 2 Troits and I am giving my Current Troit in a Club giveaway that (hopefully) she'll win!
She doesn't have a Gold Troit yet a Gold Costumes are quite expensive, so Artelle would be a really amazing present!

And here is Poem/Story!

I stumbled through the Darkening Woods,
Around me animals were Staring,
I was desperate for a bit of Food,
It was then that I'd given up caring.

I lay down on a Moldy Log,
Just waiting for Death to Hurry up,
When suddenly from out of the Fog,
Came a creature of hope and of luck.

It's body shone like a Bar of Gold,
Almost blinding me as it came near,
I hugged it and was No longer Cold,
It had completely removed my Fear.

When the Night was gone, it ran away,
I cried because all my Fear was back,
I thought it was just a Dream, all day,
But it returned when the Night was Black.

The next day I followed the Creature,
Never losing sight of it's Gold Shell,
It taught me the way, like a Teacher,
It brought me back from the Depths of Hell.

Ever since then, my Life's been on Hold,
I am constantly hoping to see,
The creature with a Body of Gold,
Who, when I was ready to Die, saved me.
