[center]i'm tired of drawing animals, so i decided to switch it up and, looking up mythological creatures, i found nymphs. so i'm drawing them (:
The Desert Nymph

Inhabiting some of the driest terrain known to mortals, the desert nymph makes her home among the sparse vegetation and animal life of the arid regions. Her skin mimics the texture of her environment, and her hair flows like the golden sand. She wears ferns around her neck and in her hair, and a tiny but brilliantly-colored iris at the tip of her braid. The desert nymph is kind to mortals, but tries to avoid interaction.
The Vineyard Nymph

Vivacious and fun-loving, the vineyard nymph is always up for a good time. Frequenting both natural and man made grape clusters, her outgoing personality often attracts even the shiest of nymphs. her lips and skin boast varying shades of wine and her hair is woven through with vines and fruit. Mortals are captivated by her free spirit, but she keeps interactions with them to a minimum.

i'm not learning about them, i just looked them up xP i like the idea of them, but i'm not going to post naked girls all over the forums lol and there are many interpretations that i've seen where they come from various environments, so i'm playing on that (:

I'm learning about the Greeks and nymphs too, I learned they're naked little immortal women that live in forests 0_0
and in this one myth that I read Zeus was chasing them around the forest ...
