Dan was ecstatic. He had strolled casually into class, expecting his football teammates to crowd around him, asking for the story of his abduction at the Easter holidays. But he was shocked to find them all crowded around a new girl. They were all practically drooling at her feet. He would've been too, if he hadn't learned to mistrust hot girls. Just before he could walk over to his friend, Otto, she turned her head and winked at him. He stopped walking towards Otto, and went towards her instead.
"Hi." he'd said nervously.
"Hey." her voice was like a cat purring.
"Um, what's your name?" he'd asked.
"My name's Vicki." she purred.
She had long, black hair that hung down to her ass, which was covered by hot pants, which were black denim, and which clung to her thighs like glue. She had on a dark blue tank top, which hung low to reveal her cleveage. She had on knee-high leather boots which had a very high heel.
"I'm Dan." I said.
"Nice to meet you, Dan." she purred.
The bell rang then, and I was forced to look away from all her hotness. The day passed in a blur, and every time I saw Vicki, I swear my heart missed a beat, and I stopped breathing. When the day was over, I started to look for my girlfriend, Ashley. She had saved me from getting raped by her step-mum a few days ago, and that just made their relationship a hell of a lot stronger. But now it was awkward. He really liked the new girl, Vicki. He spotted her talking to herself in the corner of the playground. She'd taken to doing that a lot since Shauna died. She was...lonely. I walked over to her.
"Hey Ash." I said quietly.
"Oh, hey Dan." she stuttered.
"Hi. Just saying I gotta go." I said quickly, Vicki was waving me over.
"'Kay. Bye." she said.
"Bye." I said
I practically sprinted over to Vicki.
"Hey." I said breathlessly.
"Hello again, Dan." she purred.
Jeese, she was hot.
"I was, uh, wondering if you were doing anything later?" I asked, totally forgetting Ashley.
"No. Do you want to come over to my place?" she asked.
"Uh. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the park?" I asked.
"Sure." she purred, "I'll meet you there at six."
She walked away, her ass twitching as she went. My mouth hung open.
Chapter 2
"Mum! I'm home!" I shouted through the hall.
She came running up to me. She's been very protective of me since I went missing.
"Oh, sweetie. Are you okay?" she said before kissing me on the cheek.
"Of course I am, mum." I said wearily.
She could be really annoying sometimes.
"I'm going out at six." I told her.
"Oh! Baby! Where are you going?" she fretted.
"Just to a friend's." I said truthfully.
Vicki wasn't really just a friend. More a hot friend. I sighed, took a step away from my mum, and walked upstairs. I threw my jacket over the door handle on my room and walked in. I switched on my radio and started humming to E.T.
"Ready for abduction..." I muttered quietly as I grabbed my drawing pad.
Jeese, I love to draw. Everyone calls me stupid when I draw at school, so it's strictly a home thing. I doodled absently mindedly, then I noticd I was drawing Vicki. Oh, god. I'd drawn her dressed in a bikini. I very skimpy one. She was hot, even in a pencil drawing. Was there chemistry between us? Or was it just me drooling over her? Jeese, I didn't know. If only Ashley was that hot...Ashley...no. She'd broken my heart lots of times. Now I was going to break hers. She used to draw hearts with Ashley & Dan written inside them. Did she ever mean it when she said 'I love you'? The truth was, I didn't know. I could feel my pencil flexing slightly as I clenched it with frustration. I really liked Vicki. But I liked Ashley too. I had to choose. Someone I know I can love happily, or someone who I think I can love happily. I needed to spend some time with Vicki, so I can understand her more. I stood up, closed my drawing pad and and placed my pencil on top of it. I walked towards my door, opened it and grabbed my jacket. I closed the door and walked downstairs.
"Bye mum." I called.
"Bye sweetie! Be careful!" she called back.
"Will do!" I called.
I walked out of the door and strolled towards the park. Dang, I was really early. I turned round a corner and flipped open my mobile.
Hey I texted Ashley
Hey she replied
What you up to?
Nothing.
Wanna come to the park?
Sure.
Dang. How would that turn out? My girlfriend and a very hot girl in the same place. Why did I ask Ashley to come anyway? Eh, well. I turned another corner and saw the park. Oh, thank god, it was empty. I quickened my pace and practically ran to the gate. I opened it and jogged towards the swings. I sat on one and started to swing back and forth. As I did, I texted Ashley again.
Hey I texted.
What now? she texted back.
Vicki coming to park as well.
Who?
Vicki.
Who the hell is she?
New girl.
Oh, that bad girl from rehabiliatation?
What? From rehabilitation?
Yeah.
What did she do?
Stabbed her mum.
No way.
Way.
But she seems nice.
Yeah, well I keep up to date on Twitter.
Twitter?
Yeah. Problem?
No. See you in a bit.
Kay.
I flipped my phone shut and put it in my pocket. So, Vicki was a bad girl from rehabilitation who killed her mum? Damn, I had to choose a bad one didn't I? Sigh. I slowed the swing down by dragging my feet on the floor. I jumped up and walked over to the park bench. I sat down and waited. Within 10 minutes I noticed a long, black haired girl walking towards the park. My heart rate increased rapidly. It was Vicki. Oh god! She's a murderer! Just remember that!
"H-h-hi." I stuttered.
She smiled smugly. Maybe she thought I was stuttering out of nervousness because of her hotness. But it was really out of fear.
"Hey Dan." she purred.
"Uh. I wanted to ask you something." I said.
"What?" she purred
"Did you really stab your mum?" I blurted.
Crap. I didn't mean to say that. I meant to ask if she was single. Crap. She looked really hurt, and sad.
"No." she said.
"No? But my friend Ashley told me that you said you did on Twitter." I said, confused.
"No... I was... I was framed." she sobbed.
I couldn't tell if it was an act, but I patted her shoulder gently and hugged her.
"It's okay. I understand." I said gently.
"T-t-thanks." she cried.
As I comforted her, Ashley came towards us. She looked pissed. I quickly released Vicki and stumbled towards her.
"Ashley!" I shouted.
"Hello." she said stiffly.
"Hey babe. What's wrong?" I asked.
"That's wrong." she said pointing at Vicki.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"Was she crying, and sad and stuff?" she asked.
"Yeah, that's why I was hugging her." I said.
"She's not crying now. Uh. Dan. Run." she said, looking quite scared.
"Run? But why?" I asked.
"She's coming towards you." she said.
"So?" I said.
"Look." she said.
I did. Vicki had her fists clenched and she looked sad and pissed. I automatically stood in front of Ashley. She pulled her fist back and threw it forwards, aiming for me!
Chapter 3
As her fist went flying straight towards my face, I knew this was gonna hurt. Her knuckles smashed into my jaw and I yelped in pain. My blood spurted everywhere and I could hear Ashley sobbing. I could also hear another person crying. Vicki was crying? Why?
"No! I was aiming for Ashley!" Vicki sobbed.
Aiming for Ashley? Why? What had she done? My mind babbled over the pain radiating up from my jaw to my temple. Jeese, that hurt.
"Aiming for me? You bitch!" Ashley screamed.
I heard the sound of skin on skin. I presumed Ashley had slapped Vicki. I doubled over. The pain in my head was immense. I pressed my fingers lightly to my jaw. The pain increased and my hands came away bloody.
"I want him!" Vicki yelled.
"He's mine!" Ashley screamed.
"Murderer!"
"No, you are!"
"Nuh uh!"
"Uh huh!"
Jeese. How long was this fight going to go on for. I stood up and ignored the pain in my head. I could feel it, but I put it at the back of my mind. Hang on. Vicki called Ashley a murderer. How the hell did she know about Carla? She wasn't jailed or prosecuted. It was classed as an act of self defence.
"Guys!" I yelled, yelping slightly at the throbbing in my head. It hurt to shout.
"What?" they said together.
They looked really bad. They had red marks on their faces where they'd slapped each other. Ashley's hair was a mess, as was Vicki's makeup. Her mascara was smudged right across her cheek. There was blood everywhere. That was mine. And both of them were giving each other dagger-looks.
"What?" Ashley repeated.
"How did you know that Ashley killed Carla?" I asked Vicki.
"Easy. My dad's was a cop. One of the one's Carla killed." she said.
There was a shocked silence.
"Then why come to the same school as her step-daughter?" I asked.
"I thought it would be cool the meet the bitch who killed my dad's murderer." she said, "Shame she likes you."
"Why?" I asked.
"Havn't you realised? I love you, Dan. You're so funny and sensitive. I like that in a guy, despite my appearance." she said, gesturing to her clothes.
"Hey, bitch, I don't give two shit's what you think. Dan's mine." Ashley said defensively.
"I don't care what you think either." Vicki said.
"You little sh-" Ashley started.
"No!" I shouted, "No more fighting! Ashley! Maybe it's time we gave up."
Ashley look shocked. Vicki looked triumphant. Before I could begin to apologise for being so harsh, Ashley turned around and ran away from us. I could hear Vicki giggling under her breath.
"Think it's funny?" I asked her.
"Kinda." she giggled.
"Well it's not!" I yelled.
I winced and felt tears flow from my eyes. I needed to get my damn jaw checked out. I turned around and walked away from Vicki.
"Where are you going?" Vicki asked, following me.
"I need to go to the doctors." I said.
"Hey, I didn't mean to. I was aiming for Ashley." she apologised.
"Well. It doesn't matter. I still have to go." I said firmly, and I strolled in the general direction of town, clutching my jaw.
