I think we've talked a few times, but I don't know you that well, even though you created my profile that I've had up for ages now. I guess we've chatted a few times, enough so that I can call you my "Marafriend" or whatever, but I really wish I could have gotten to know you better. However, I think that we should focus on the main reason why I'm applying - because I want everything you have.

Ok, not everything; you knew I was just joking, right? I'm actually applying for one object/pixel/item/pet/thing: your enchanted devil mordo plushie. I hope that I'm not too greedy ... Ok, what am I talking about? I'm sure that everyone applying is doing it for one reason or another. But here's mine. This introduction too WAY too long; I hope you didn't die right away. Hmm. I have a tendency to write extremely awkwardly phrased sentences (see? there's another one.)
Forgive me, and I hope that you'll make it through the rest of the application. Ha-cha-cha. 8D

My name is MysterieGirl, but I don't even know where that came from. I go by Christine, or sometimes people just shorten my name to Myst if they don't know what my name is. To keep you from passing out from boredom, I'll divide this section into two parts - one about me in real life and another about my Marapets addiction. (Are you laughing yet? Didn't think so, bwahaha.)

So, I am an average girl, in almost every sense of the word, I guess. I'm average height, so I'm not too tall or short, even though my legs are abnormally long - according to my doctor. My hair never behaves, even though I try to straighten it about fifty times each day. Above all things, I can't curl my hair to save my life. So most days I'm stuck with limp brown hair or frizzy brown hair. Would you rather look like Sasquatch or Papa bear from Goldilocks? Hard decision, yep. I'm addicted to facebook; it's ridiculous. That being said, so is almost every single other teenager in the world, so I'm not alone. I also participate in a variety of sports (dang, this sounds like a college application, haha), including cross country and softball. I'm fine with running five miles or more a day, but I'm not too coordinated. Honestly, I'm not sure how I even hit the ball in the first place at tryouts. violin and piano are my life right now, along with the SATs. Being Asian (with brown hair, nevertheless), I'm genetically modified to focus on school only. It's rather unfortunate, in my honest opinion. Being so intent on schoolwork, I have to admit that only English appeals to me. Math and science? Way too hard for my puny little brain, but in the end I manage to pull off a clean 4.0 GPA. I think that procrastination really kills me, though. Besides the whole schoolwork regime thing, I'm actually pretty in touch with my friends, and I don't think I have such bad taste in music. I listen to some generic and mainstream music, but I'm also in love with several indie bands. Ok, enough about my real life. That just weirds me out talking about me me me, and it???s probably boring the heck out of you. Am I right?

Random Fact #1: My New Year's Resolution has always been to stop putting off projects and crap, but that never works.

Random Fact #2: I love Lady Gaga, but JustinE Beiber makes me gag.

On Marapets, I'm MysterieGirl. Ohshnaps, doesn't that sound so mysterious? I'm just joking - I've been in several clubs, but none I've truly liked, so I guess you can count me clubless. I love love love doing Tarquin quests, because I somehow seem to luck into finishing them. I tried Blitzen once, but I failed around level 25. Everyone seems to say that they lost around the 29th or 30th level, but I didn't even pass the 25th one, so HA. I've been trying to do trunx for the past few months, but I'm just not as interested in the whole music genre. Ironic, hmm? I???m an avid RSer, but lately I???ve been focusing on statting up my pet Hounddude whenever I can. I???ve been trying to save up for a Viotto, because I???m a hopeless case when it comes to those. I also didn???t pass Blitzen and I???m not going to succumb to those taunts. Not going to even joke, ok? Later on I???ll talk about how much I want a Viotto and WHY. I???ve also been trying to save up for a Love Dress, but I can live without one of those. My history as an applicant isn???t too great, but I???ve managed to win about one million and a wonderful pet, so I really think that I might have a chance as this. I???m not too fashionable when it comes to the Wardrobe, but all I don???t mind at all. Eheheh.

Random Fact #3: I tried to open a club once. I paid people 50k to join it. Tells you how gullible I am. I also spent 0k. Tells you how many people joined my club.

So, that???s pretty much it about me, sorry to disappoint. ;P I???m not too exciting, but that???s what you can expect from an Asian, eh? I???m just kidding. That???s all there is about me, and now it???s time to move on to the Viotto part of my application. Just a warning; I???m pretttttty sure that I have a really messed up writing style, so don???t expect separate chapters and all that, it???s going to be one long essay. One after the other. ----- * Viotto/ Isce Application * ----

Ohhhh, Isce, where do I even start? I guess it???s time to take a Doofenshmirtz approach to this situation, and we???re going to start with a backstory! (Phineas and Ferb TV show reference, if you didn???t get that.) I feel like that???s always the best way to explain yourself or a situation.

When I first joined Marapets, I actually wasn???t all that clueless. I know that some people were all like, ???Oh, yeah. I was SUCH a newbie, I didn???t know anything!??? Well, being addicted to so many petsites before that, I was actually all right when I started. I could RS well, do quests well, and I even finished Tarquin on my first try (which, if you luck into it, is not that hard.) I heard everywhere that others ???never finished Blitzen!??? so I decided to try doing those missions myself. That was when I really became addicted to the Viotto, mainly because it was so rare. I???ll discuss a Viotto???s aspects later in the, ahem, essay. Needless to say, I failed the mission. I???ve tried about three times in my three years here, so I???m calling it my annual Blitzen fail. Each year I???ve come closer, but it???s never been close enough, really. I haven???t even made it to level 25. So this year (I???ve already done my annual fail) I decided that enough of this Blitzen crap; he isn???t going to control me and my weird moneymaking skills anymore! I became determined to get a Viotto. And an Ice Viotto at that, because that???s the only color I like.

Random Fact #4: When I saw you around a lot, I used to go to your profile and stare at Isce. Not going to even lie to you, because I stalked e v e r y o n e with a Viotto, just in case they ever wanted to trade.

There???s my backstory. Now, onto the real part of this application, why I want Isce so much. I???m going to talk about the Viotto???s gorgeous aspects first, and then move onto your wonderful pet. And let???s be clear, I???m not kissing up to you in any way, because I???m speaking the truth about Isce. (; If you???re that wonderful, I???m not too sure about. Just kidding!

A Viotto has been one of my favorites since forever, if you haven???t caught that hint already. Of course, it???s only one of my favorites because I seem to have a tendency towards canine and deerlike marapets, which means I???m also in love with the Tasi. But the Viotto is much more prized, and I feel as if everyone describes it the same exact way, so I???m going to save you the pain and torture of the creepy descriptions of a Viotto. Chiefly, I love that pet because it is a deer/moose/reindeer and I???m intent on getting what I want, even though Blitzen has tried to thwart me of my deserved pet. Grrr. No, really though.

Random Fact #5: See where I wrote ???towards canine and deerlike marapets???? Before, I accidentally typed ???canine and deerlike poke mon.??? I???m a nerd.

But why Isce, out of all the Viottos out there? The pet may be limited edition, but there are hundreds of the deerlike Viotto(s?) on Mara. Isce, however, is up for grabs. I don???t mean to sound crude, but there???s no other way of putting it. Since you???re giving away your pet, everyone is striving for Noella or Isce ??? I???m going for Isce, hehe. I find the name very appealing and it matches the pet perfectly. I???m not sure if you were trying to do that or anything, since Isce seems to be really really really old, but I think it???s fine and I love it. I don???t know if anyone else has noticed, but I actually really like the fact that she???s statted. Maybe not a whole lot, but at least she can defend herself on the battle field, right? So mainly, I???m just in love with Isce because of her species, her name, and her stats. Love love love.

If you were to give me Isce, I???d be elated beyond words. I do feel that such activity merits another paragraph from me. So what exactly would I do with Isce? I would never trade her. I???m not much a pet trader myself, and I don???t really want to trade my pets, funnily enough. Thus, you would never see her leave my account. I know that you???ve been through quite a bit with her, so I know that there???s SOME emotional investment. With that in mind, I won???t ever give her away or trade her. If anyone asks, I???ll seriously get defensive and overemotional and kick them away. I truly promise you that. She will be the jewel on my profile. If you???re reading this and rolling your eyes, I know that you???re still thinking about Isce. She may be a pixel, but she???s a pixel you???ve know the best.

Furthermore, I would keep statting Isce for you. Maybe just to 50 or 60, though, because I tend to be broke a lot. Like, a lot a lot. So Isce would get somewhere, but I doubt she???d be the next Mr. Macho Man. If there even is a title called Mr. Macho Man, because that???d be very creepy. I???d probably get her a matching Minipet, and I???d cure her cold. Yep, I???ve pretty much stalked her page too. Cure your pets, man. ;P But really, I???d give her some great weapons, get her to read one or two books, and keep upping her CD count. Maybe she can win me some Trunx missions now; I???m kind of sick with that weird Poera asking me for books every single day. With all that in mind, know that I???ll never repaint her. That would mean that she would no longer be Ice. Or Isce. Get it? Hur hur hur.

Random Fact #5: I had to google if there was a Mr. Macho Man. I ended up watching a YouTube video.

I know Isce isn???t really a real pet, she???s just pixels. But I???ve already created an amazing persona for her, and I want you to know about it before I end this part of my application. In my head (song breakout time!, I think she???s kind of an arrogant but lanky teenage girl. Everyone KNOWS Isce is flawless, and so does she, meaning that she doesn???t let anyone lay a finger on her. She???s come across many a fine stag/stud, but she never really likes any of them; they???re just all too controlling. Isce can???t be restrained by any physical, verbal, or emotional means, and she???s not going to be held back by anyone. It???s just part of her nature. And for any physical notes, Isce never paints her nails. I???m just OCD about that fact.

Random Fact #6: I tend to break out into songs. Right now I have In My Head by Jason Derulo stuck ??? in my head. How ironic.

This part of my application is coming to an end, and I???m honestly very upset about it. For one, it???s because I can???t think of anything else for Isce, which seems stupid because I???m applying for her. For two, it???s because this is my last chance to prove to you that I really would be a great owner for Isce. So I???m going to summarize and bring up my arguments again. Isce is amazing, because of her looks and her name, so I???m never ever going to change her in those aspects. I???m going to first cure her of her sickness, then give her some more CDs. In the future, I???m going to give her one or two books, just so she can brag about that, as well. I???m also going to stat her up to the 50s and 60s range, and she???s going to be MRS. Macho ??? Woman. Ok. (;

----- * Enchanted Devil Mordo Plushie Application * -----

Back story time! That???s how I tend to start my applications, if you haven???t noticed yet. But really, a back story about plushies and Mordos. My first story, though, is about Mordos. I honestly do like them, or I DID like them when I first started, or maybe was a year into playing. I wanted one only because they were so rare. I just wanted to show off to everyone else how amazing I was to be able to have a Mordo, because back then they were almost as rare as Roflings. I really wanted to be get one, but I just didn???t have the motivation or the means to get that much money. I was set on the same path you were: get an enchanted plushie. Muhahaha. I never did, but now I can!

Random Fact #7: It???s actually a question. How did you feel when Mara released the potions? I would have been Newths float my boated, but that???s just me.

So, why would anyone want the plushie at this point? If they truly wanted a Mordo, they would get a potion, and a Devil Costume costs about 6.5 million. I think it???s because people want the plushie so they can sell it. Yes, the plushie was about 11 million back then, but now it???s even more expensive, even rarer than ever. Looking at the trades, it???s worth about 10-25 million, I???m not sure. Anyone would want it for the money. If they sold it, it would be like winning your giveaway for MP. Nowadays, it???s always for the money, though.

Random Fact #8: I actually wanted a funky Mordo, not an Devil one. But either one is fine with me. ;P

With me, being me, I???m not going to sell it, I promise you that. If I even got it, that is ??? such items are much too rare for you to just toss out the window, so I???m not tossing it out the window. I???m probably going to keep it in my gallery forever and ever and ever, because I???d like to have something rare in it. (: It would make people jealous, no? Really, that???s what I always wanted, to have something spiffeh in my gallery. I have some costumes and a Poera Potion, but nothing really GASP! worthy. And trust me, your plushie is very gasp worthy. My gallery isn???t empty, so it???s not like I???m just a person who wants it just to have it. No, I have a weird collection going on and I???d love to be able to add your plushie to the collection as well.

And if I???m not going to put it in my gallery, I think I might use it Kopho. I feel like that???s the best name that fits the pet, since it sounds extremely tough and intimidating. I???d probably then use Kopho as a showcase pet. However, since I might want my ???best??? pet to become my prized pet, I???d probably use the plushie on hounddude, and save up for a Name Certificate so I can change his name. He???s the best pet I have stat-wise, so if I were to use the Plushie on him it???d make him seem a little bit tougher than he already is. (: Which is not to say a lot, but hey, those Newths float my boatly porcupine needles are a little threatening, no?

Random Fact #9: I???m not sure if a Mordo is a porcupine or hedgehog. What say you?

I can???t think of any other possibilities for just one plushie. It???s not really a pet, so you don???t get full control over it. I???d probably make a blog dedicated to the plushie if I won, though. In fact, I will if I did win, and you have to make sure that I do. I feel like a blog is needed, because if I look at it each day, I???ll be reminded that you helped me get that enchanted mordo plushie. In other words, and I know how freakishly cheesy this sounds, I???ll never forget you.

I think this pretty much wraps up this part of my app, in which I???m really hinting that I really love your plushie. ;D Like, love love. I???m going to play some romantic music right now.

----- * The Deserving Debate * -----

Let???s be honest, not everyone is 100 percent deserving of what they applied for, including me. I want to say that I know there are much more experienced players out there. Even though I may seem really old, I???m not the best battler, RSer, or graphics maker. I can???t trade my pets when I do try, and I focus on school more than Mara. I???ve won a few things already, and I know that some people actually need the pet or whatnot. Maybe a newbie wrote an amazing application; I feel that person would be more deserving than me. I don???t really need all of that I???m applying for; I just really want Isce and your plushie, for the reasons mentioned above. I???ve put time and effort into making this application, but there???s always, and I mean always, someone who has more stamina and creates a mindblowing application, so I???m certain they should get a reward for that. I want you to honestly take that into mind and know that I am not completely worthy of what I???m applying for. Do know that others would appreciate winning as much, if not more, than I do.

Random Fact #10: Sushi or eggrolls? (; In my opinion, eggrolls win.

I don???t want to leave things off with an awkwardly negative ending, so I???m going to mention the few reasons why I???m a bit deserving as well. To start, I do think that I???ve worked long and hard on this application, and I think the dedication I put into it deserves a little something. I don???t want to come off as whiny or rude (rather the opposite), but anyone who puts in so much time to write an application, no matter who they are, is a bit more deserving. Granted, some people don???t have enough time, but I spaced out everything in between these past few days and managed to write this application.

I also think that I???m capable of owning Isce and the plushie because I will stick to my promises. No random ???Hey, want to trade????s are ever going to come out of my mouth, and I???m not going to toss the plushie away without a second thought. I honestly will take care of both, and will never abandon either of them. Don???t worry about it. I also can say that I???ve been generous. You know the phrase, ???Karma???s a bit//???? I believe in that, but in a good way. I hope that karma will come around and hit me, but this time leaving behind Isce and your plushie.

Also, I don???t want to be greedy. I fully understand if you do not want me to receive anything at all, or if you don???t feel that I am even one bit deserving, for the reasons stated above ??? or if you want to give me just one of the two. Anything is really appreciated, because in this application I???ve just poured out what I felt, and am feeling right now. It seems that if I were to get both, I would be really spoiled, since it???s just so much time and effort people, including you, have put into it.

I also want you to know that your pets are forever yours. I will never truly think they are mine. I will always think them as yours. In fact, if you were to to ever come back from the real world and demand them, I would return them, albeit a bit reluctantly.

Random Fact #11: I actually did return a pet to its original owner once on Mara. She was trying to trade through the pound and I got it instead. Even though I hated that I had to return it, I did.

Did you see how meaningful that poem was? I just structured it funnily, but if you take the first and last line, it spells, I 1. Or I one. Or I won. Ooooh.

----- * Conclusions * -----

I said conclusions because through writing this application, I???ve come to many conclusions. The first one was that yes, these pets really are just pixels, but it???s the emotional investment that makes us so attached to them. I think that???s why you???re demanding such long applications, or maybe it???s because you feel that we should go through the same pain you did. No offense, though, but these essays are definitely not fun to write. It???s because you???ve been through so much with all of your pets, with all of your MP, that you???re frustrated to see how little effort people are putting in. I guess it???s because without you to show people how wonderful and beautiful the writing process can be, there???s just no more motivation. No more competition. You???ve put in so much time, yet no one???s spending that same amount of time back. Thus, I???ve been trying to match your description of an amazing application. You wanted lengthy, and I tried to put that. You disliked excessive amounts of funniness, so I nixed that as well. You didn???t like stories a lot, so I didn???t write any (well, I stink at them as well.) So many people have bent to your will to be able win what they wanted, and they will be severely disappointed when they realized it was for naught.

Which brings me to another conclusion. Everyone has worked so extremely hard on their application, and I???ve read maybe one or two, so I really do know. I???m not saying that the one paragraph applications were so amazing, but there are obviously a lot of apps that merit a few MPs, if not 100 or 200k. But there are some stunningly long applications that are just mindblowing. Do I use that word too much? I feel like I do. I just wanted to point out that some people really do deserve to get something.

The last conclusion was that this application made me realize that I???m actually not too bad at applying. Granted, of course, if I don???t win I???ll be a bit upset but I really think it was interesting to write such long essays and whatnot. Did you know that I used to apply in a lot of giveaways, and some you entered too? I think I applied for Oirt and this one giveaway by Excell. You were in both, and you won both. I was a horrible applicant and I seriously stalked your apps out of madness. I seriously wanted to copy them, but then I saw that you actually saw someone copying and I never did. Phew. That being all out, I think I???ll start my career as an amazing applicant.

And for the price of three, you get an extra paragraph! I just wanted to say that I???m addicted to isce and your plushie now. Every few sentences I just open your blog, which I have bookmarked, as well as yoru gallery, to see if you???ve announced winners. I hope I???m not taking too long. But I really hope that Isce will be mine one day, and if not I know that there will be even more amazing people out there. Haha I feel as if I use that word a lot. Overall, I want to thank you for this opportunity. If I win, I???ll be elated beyond anything, if that made sense at all.
